      This is heavy touring class, 2500 lb MGTOW and up. The Scout would be in Bush Class with he SUper CUbs, which means you wouldn't be showing anyone how it's done.

    Im sorry but I can’t not say most of these guys don’t have real power management skills, and are getting lucky when they stall out. And in result are just abusing their landing gear, their mechanics must love them lmao

    it ought to be about who is the best pilot not whose got the most outrageous expensive airplane... they should all fly the same airplane and that airplane should be a secret so no one can practice .it should be a common plane so regular pilots would really see the talent. like doing acrobatics dead stick in a twin engine like bob hoover use to

    • @ernestoherreralegorreta137
      @ernestoherreralegorreta137 Před rokem +1

      You're so comically wrong if you thing that the 182 is the most "outrageous expensive airplane" among those in the contest. Furthermore, some pilots are good with some airplanes but not with others, and viceversa. And finally, some pilots simply do not like certain airplaines, or just love other ones, like myself: I would take a C185 above anything else, anytime, everytime...and never a C182.

    • @andrewalexander9492
      @andrewalexander9492 Před rokem

      🤣 If you had professional aircraft appraisers estimate the market price of the 5 airplanes in that class, You know which one would come in with the lowest appraisal? The airplane which won first place. An old straight tail 182 will always have a lower market value than a 180 in similar condition and hours. And 185's are always worth more than 180's in similar condition. So this was a case of the *least* expensive airplane winning. A 182 really doesn't have much in the way of a performance advantage over a 180, a straight tail 182 like that is almost Identical to the same year 180, except for the landing gear. The reality is the guy who got first place here simply out-flew the other guys.

      We'd love to hear your input, if you want to email us at tom@nationalstol.com and we can start a conversation on how to improve. Obviously... we can't put hazards on the runway, but we definitely want to make it interesting.
