& when you're the first to go to university in your family, nobody understands what you're going through x) it's like oh, you're studying, AGAIN? You're smart you don't have to study, you'll pass anyway. NO DAD, THINGS DON'T WORK LIKE THAT.
Besides the whole waking up like Cinderella, haha, I thought first year was pretty spot on...though people stop coming to class halfway thru the semester, esp. 8AM classes
+LeIndianDude 101 so it may apply to most schools in the U.S., but at the school I attend, you have mandatories you have to attend, especially at the start of the semester. but then later on, most lectures will be optional, since they record the lectures for us. however, this just applies to classes like Neuro or pharm- labs, and the other classes, like intro to clinical skills or humanities courses, etc.- those are always mandatory for us.
They make it seem so relaxed its way harder than this
