I’m so proud she’s going to fourth grade and I’m going to fifth grade, but I’m going to fifth grade in middle school. I’m so proud of her cute little girl.
I grew up eating pretty healthy at home, but my grandmother spoiled us and gave us a lot of junk food and fast food on Saturdays when she watched us. I know she meant well and had a lot of love for us, like Princess does for Baby Girl, but some of us, myself included developed a sugar addiction that is difficult to break free from. I'm nearly fifty, average weight now, but I must have sweet snacks on the daily. Four years ago I was diagnosed with a digestive disorder known as Microscopic Colitis, a form of colitis that can only be diagnosed through biopsies from the colon. It is a nightmare disease of frequent bathroom visits and cramping pain. All raw fruit and veggies are off the table. I made the choice to go gluten and dairy free, which helps the symptoms. I lost so much weight in the first years of my sickness, but when I'm not in a flare, sugary but organic snacks like Justin's dark chocolate peanut butter cups and gluten free nilla wafers are my go-to snacks. Even though I digest these goodies well, my body misses and needs salads, fresh fruits and veggies, but I don't digest them well, except melons. I'm good about my protein, regularly having chicken, turkey, tuna or salmon. Just find balance. Moderation and variety and participating in outdoor activities with the kiddos will keep you on the better path.
Sounds like a you problem. You don't get a sugar addiction from eating junk food one day a week lol. Sounds like your grandmother just wanted to share food she liked with her grand kids. It's not that deep
good thing you’re not the “real” mother then.. also the word you were looking for is biological mother. this woman is as real as it gets! and that’s the point of a charcuterie board style lunch: snacks! did you even watch the video 😂
We love you very much and I would love if y’all considered talking to a dietitian or nutritionist to get a professional opinion I know seeing a bunch of comments about your eating habits can be overwhelming but we just want y’all happy and healthy.
I would say any comment focused on this child's weight or the food isn't concerned about the child but more so "I would never do this because I'm better". Lets keep in mind this child is moving, she's gone for upwards of 6 hrs (minimum) from the house and she's not even in puberty yet. A LOT of the weight she has on her now is likely to either drop off and redistribute in puberty. Lets also remember genetics is a thing and her father is not skinny and mom may not be either. Its weird the obsession people have with this child eating less when we've seen that step mom habitually overpacks or over orders food for her because she doesn't eat in one sitting but rather breaks it into 2-3 meals. This child likely didn't even a lot of what was sent
@@TheZombifiedFairy did I say anything about weight?? Please show me where I ever said anything about the child…. I love this channel but I think getting a professional opinion will help making healthier eating choices. My original comment still stands.
@@TheZombifiedFairyForming good eating habits starts early. She had weightloss surgery for a reason. If we teach kids to eat healthy, they will be much better as adults.
@hemphoney2371 her having weightloss surgery says NOTHING about the child. Especially since a lot of the snacks are healthy alternatives to common junk foods. Its clear that yall see labels and ASSUME its junk because of the name. Her snacks are: dipsters (170 cal, 2g protein, no junk food additives), baby bel cheese (70 cal 4g protein), trufru (90 cal, its little just frozen chocolate covered fruit), little spoon fruit rippers (50 cal, no additives), little spoon pouch (80 cal, 1g protein no additives) plus blueberries with a small amount of sugar (she barely put any on there) and almonds. That most unhealthy thing there is the Pepperoni but it looks like she got a single serving size. Lets keep this in mind also that this is likely over 2 meal times, and she totals out maybe a little over 600 cals, which is pretty healthy AND it incorporates veggies, fruit, dairy, meat/ high protein, low carbs and a nice treat. Please tell me whats wrong with this meal other than yall assuming that this is all high cal/high fat and highly processed
@LyfeWithJoy but there are literally PLENTY of healthy choices in this very meal. The fattiest thing is the protein option. 3 of the snack choices are Little Spoons items (no additives, incorporates veggies and fruits), she has almonds, she has blueberries with barely any sugar, she also has chocolate covered fruit, dairy and water. Keeping in mind from prior videos a meal like this is more like 2 meals for baby girl and we have about MAYBE 700 cals over 2 meals. Could she have had a better meat option? Of course. But this is a GREAT example of a good start to a balanced meal. If you're trying to eat healthier, high protein low carbs is the way to go for success and the pepperoni, dipsters, baby bel and shake all have protein in it. Depriving a child of all sugar and snacks sets them up for failure.

@@anonymous-bb2dw it’s funny how nowhere in my comment did i mention that sugar isn’t bad lol it really is like talking to a brick wall in this comment section. it’s almost like… kids will be kids… because they’re kids! it’s not wrong or bad to indulge them now and then, it’s all about moderation but it’s not bad to let them have fun. maybe she’ll realize she doesn’t want that kind of lunch again, maybe she’ll ask for it every once in a while. one meal doesn’t define the rest of somebodies life. hope that helps “anonymous-bb2dw”.
When all the family is over weight. That's when it's a problem ... look at the dad and daughter already the mom just got weight loss surgery NOT being a dick but it should be like a little wake up call. I’m so proud she’s going to fourth grade and I’m going to fifth grade, but I’m going to fifth grade in middle school. I’m so proud of her cute little girl.
That looks good ngl I’d tear that down 🔥
I’m off to 4th now😢I miss 3rd grade
My last day of 4th grade
I’d be pissed as the real mother, nothing to help her stay full through the day…😕
good thing you’re not the “real” mother then.. also the word you were looking for is biological mother. this woman is as real as it gets! and that’s the point of a charcuterie board style lunch: snacks! did you even watch the video 😂
Yeah, the kid definitely looks like she’s starving.. y’all are nuts!!
Are you okay 🥰
Depriving a child of all sugar and snacks sets them up for failure.
putting sugar in a fruit that already has sugar in it 🥴🥴🥴

Those chocolate covered fruits are frozen tho... How did they not melt by lunch time
This type of strawberry covered with chocolate don’t melt, I had them and I always keel them in my counter and they never melt, Idk how they don’t melt but they hold . Hope that helps
Imagine counting how much sugar a little girl is having… counting calories. OF A CHILD!!! Mind your business and let this amazing mother do her thing… (judging off one meal is crazy…)
Soooo I should let my child have unlimited sugar and eat whatever??? I shouldn’t be mindful of the diet I’m providing for my child? Is that what you’re trying to say?
@@LyfeWithJoy If you’re counting the little sugar on that blueberry? Yeah no that’s not okay but never said to let a child have unlimited candy??? Counting calories is another thing
@@ughunless when did I mention candy?? I did not. 🤷🏾♀️ look up the grams of sugar for each serving of each “snack” that was given, for an 8 year old child school day lunch there’s a lot of sugar in just that one meal which is something parents should be mindful of. Sugar is legit addicting. 1 packet of the Welch’s fruit snacks has 11 grams of sugar and the child was given 2 for one meal not including the sugar in evvvverything else that was given to her. Being mindful of your child’s nutrition is not a bad thing, idc idc idc go read the nutritional information for each of those processed snacks and sugar covered fruit then we can talk. 🤷🏾♀️

You’re awesome hun but please please do portion control with her. She’s already overweight and will have a hard road ahead of her otherwise.
she is HER CHILD. not yours , i understand where you’re coming from but keep that too yourself !! you must be new here. Her babygirl is a picky eater and she pefers to let her pick. PS. not being rude about , just saying.

Lil count for this video - 8x in under a minute. Not the record but not bad for someone who insists on saying “lil” like she gets paid for each time they say it.
I don’t get it though, didn’t you have weight loss surgery? Why is this child fed so much junk when she’s already getting a bit heavy and you know how hard it is to be severely overweight? She got 3 packs of fruit snacks, chocolate spread (yes I know it’s hummus but the chickpeas don’t take away the sugar and calories in the chocolate), added sugar on her fruit, fatty meat, and more fruit cookies covered in chocolate…
love you
I love your channel but where’s the veggies? Theres multiple sources of carbs (sugar) in her lunch. She needs veggies to help digestion and as a source of micronutrients. Great job with the almonds, chocolate hummus and the cheese but still
Be careful with the tru fruit brand, I love them but a whole container or bag can be a lot of calories

Not to mention kids won't eat all of their lunches sometimes, they will eat some and than save some of it for later. That is a normal amount of food for a 5th grader
I love you create lunches you know baby girl will like.

I was so happy to see blueberries then boom. Sugar.....
I put sugar on my kiwi? It has natural sugar already so it’s not necessarily healthy to start with. And this is what SHE asked for. At least she’s gonna eat it. Her mother is teaching her about controlling how much you eat instead of what you eat. So she can eat whatever she wants but it’s about balance

Sorry, you guys grew up in toxic restricted households. Bunch of people in the comments hating. If you have an eating disorder yourself stop projecting.
Remember, babygirl, is too young to get weight-loss surgery like you had. Stop feeding her so much crap!!!
Right!!! And putting fruit on the sugar is soooooo bad for children. Maybe as a treat but only eating fruit with sugar on it will extreamly mess up the way You're brain processes sweetness and eventually you won't be able to eat fruit with out sugar. It happened to a cousin of mine. She doesn't know what fruit taste like with out sugar on it and if you give her some she won't eat it
So are you assuming her baby’s fat plus exercise is a thing she’s going to get it she’s a kid they run around a lot this just sounds like you’re a hater ngl
