I wanted to figure out a way to machine stitch the top of the sleeve without unstitching the binding! I’ve used this method a lot!

I am on my first quilt to hang and was concerned about it hanging straight at the top. The excess is the trick! Thanks!

Thank you for this tutorial. Am wondering if you hand-stitched the short side of the sleeve as well so it is connected to the quilt back?

I never do but you could stitch the short part closest to the back to the backing.
