This is a quick and nasty way to use ChatGPT and G sheets to update and re-write Shopify product descriptions and SEO meta information fast and in bulk.
We're seeing very good results with increased clicks and CTR from the sites where we are using this strategy. It's particularly useful for drop shippers or marketplaces that use vendor catalogs or feeds to upload products.
This mitigates duplicate or poor quality product pages content while keeping your content tight and within spec.
It's not perfect and crude, and likely there are better setups, but this is working for us, and we'll evolve it over time.

I have 2 comments: 1) The prompt formulas are not very clear in the video, but I managed to overcome that. 2) the SEO meta description that you generated is good and helpful, but you did not explain where to put them in the Excel sheet that was exported from shopify as it does not contain a column for SEO meta description. Your feedback is highly appreciated. Thanks again for the excellent JOB.

QQ: If your replacing your products does that mean google will have to reindex those pages.
I have over 800 products where I want to upgrade the Meta Title + Description but if I'm reuploading the products surely this means you a listing new products which mean good will have to recrawl the pages, just wanted to check to see wether you would know?

You are not uploading new products, you're just updating existing products. The URLs remain the same. Google will then re-crawl in due course and see the changes. You can manually re-submit the URLs via GSC or re-submit your sitemap to GSC, but generally we just let Google do it's thing.

i have more 700 products and ai gives the descriptions really similar to each other and i think its not the best for the seo
What we are doing is groping products based on collection, types, context etc. Then create unique and specific prompts for each section based on that context. This way you can be more diverse with the output.
wouldnt it be a problem like google understood its ai writed or etc ? @@optizenai
