OMG I LOVE YOU, thank you so much. Ive done many different solutions to fix this issue and none of them worked except this, i knew my pc wasnt the reason i couldnt hit 8k polling rate as i have a ryzen 9 7950x3d and a rtx 4090
Good specs n im glad it could help
even though i only have a 1000hz mouse, i was at 400-950hz (constantly on the lower end, going even lower at times) this helped hella, much love bro. this is great
great help, very insightful, thanks for sharing.
Thanks a lot for sharing, for me disabling the service fixed all my stutters when playing OSU with 4k hz mouse
Glad it helped
ty so much brooooooooooo
how low do you set the windows cursor speed at the 30000 dpi
even battle non sence states after 1600 dpi the returns are minimal, i have seen lobotomytv use raw accel to downscale 8000 dpi , however for me even with setting my gpu to msi mode via msi util 3 4000hz still produces a occasional bottleneck / stutter in apex , tho my gpu and cpu are mid to low tier now , i run on streched rez 1080p, the latency loss from 1600 to 30000 seem to be overkill for any setup, unless thats what allows to run 8000hz but til i get a better cpu ill be comfy at 2000 hz 1600 dpi
Don't turn off thermal throttling increase your fan curve first. If your cpu is thermal throttling it's too hot
is there a way to use 8k hz in wired mode on the viper v2 pro
How is this working? I do not understand anything in this video lol....the raw accel part.
ULPS is only available on crossfire, as in, if you have two GPUs, disabling ULPS does nothing if you don't have crossfire configuration as in, two gpus or having both dGPU and iGPU available.
Brother , it’s an amd gpu thing
Very informative
dude, you are right, but you gwanna get a lot of hate from us old people. Everybody I play CS with is on either 400 dpi and 800 dpi since 8th grade 20 years ago. They buy the latest mouse, and put it on the lowest settings. It drives me NUTS. 8000HZ/30k DPI/Windows mouse speed on 1 on CS:GO is the smoothest aiming experience I've ever had. I just regulate the sens ingame, not in the mouse settings
Damn brother you right
so when u are browsing the web u just have to suffer that slow ass cursor move speed?
0:12 sadly didnt help :\
i can only reach max 3k polling but the mouse is 4k weird...
What do you have cursor speed set to downscaling to 1600 dpi from 30,000?
What
@@rubyiwnl Your mouse cursor speed within mouse settings.

so then how are u on 30k dpi but it doesnt look like it? if ur on default mouse cursor speed@@rubyiwnl

I did 800 divided by 30000 and got 0.02666666666 and my fortnite sens is 6.3 x and y so what do I do with this 0.02666666666 number to my sens?
The program is called Raw Accel GUI.
yh I figured it out awhile back thanks anyway@@mlg8848
how do I do the maths to get it to "800dpi" while on 1 mouse pointer speed cause idk what my dpi feels like rn cause its on 30000 and mouse speed 1 but I want to get it to feel like im on 800 exactly
Its simple math bruv
I dont get it tho can u explain the formula @@rubyiwnl

@@rgbtaze5035chatgpt is pretty good for those tasks
make sure your mouse is pluged into the pc not the monitor , 8000 immediately
Wth I never knew you could plug it into a monitor
@@ayefare if you have a monitor with Nvidia reflex, you can plug the mouse to the monitor to measure the latency, I have the pg27aqn im able to measure latency but unfortunately not at 8000hz,
@UCuMCk2jZtcImsd_ZhjwDY2w that's really cool
How do you not plug the mouse in the monitor ?
honectrl got removed and is now behind a pay wall, any other way to disable c-states?
should be under chipset options in your bios n im pretty sure u can still get honecrtl on github
@@rubyiwnl i turned it off in bios yeah, and nah they deleted the .bat and replaced it with a paid app that doesnt even describe each setting much

yo i got a razer viper 8k and i still cant get up to even 3k Hz and after this it dropped to even lower now i got under 1k how do i fix this??
nvm its cuz google was too bad to register all so i downloaded an app then i could see it worked
What app did u use?

bro my razer viper 8khz doesnt work at 8000hz i tested on 4 different website how can i fix this my dpi 1000 i tried 20000 doesnt affect
wtf i tried again dpi and windows cursor speed i can see 7990hz directly but mouse idle hz is between 300-600 is this normal ? cursor is doesnt move on idle btw
Yh ofc it’s normal when it doesn’t move it’s not sending any information to your computer u should js look at the performance you’re getting when you’re moving your mouse
@@edfred9177 no diff i have a ryzen 7 7800x3d
Is there anyway to fix sutters and fps drops with using high polling rate
Bro answer the flippin question
@@rgbtaze5035get a better computer
@@rgbtaze5035 when I upgraded to windows 11 my mouse stutters decreased I play on 4k polling rate
Mines isn’t 8000 but it is higher. About 4,000-6000
shouldn't go past 6400 dpi/cpi pixart sensors start adding frames of smoothing, for razer at 6400 @ 4000hz adds 1 frames, 8000hz adds 2 frames , it's different for diferent manufactuers
also for most pixart sensors the native dpi/cpi is 1600
Source?
@@rubyiwnl I was partially incorrect, this was based on old information and knowledge, no mouse using Pixart sensor has ever been able to do it full range without adding frames of smoothing, and 6400 (12000 for it seem for newer mice) is normally the cut-off (higher some firmware), razer no longer adds smoothing frames to for polling rate that Im aware( I checked my source ) even almost all Pixart sensor's have a native res of 1600 / and or are designed with that dpi preferred in the last decade
assuming alot based off prior knowledge
@@user-zj2ib9tx5z what’s your source
Higher Poll Rate = Stutters! Low Poll Rate = No Stutters
Depends on pc and settings but the effect is very negligible
Actually the games engine affects it more the components the finals dies higher then 1k polling rate@@rubyiwnl
@@CODrocks19999You are right, some games engines don't even support 8KHZ polling rates.
