- Burlington High School held their Mock Crash on Tuesday May 10, 2022. The Crash was a way to show students the consequences with drinking and driving.
how tragic to die in a car accident.
No one died or were injured in this video, they were all high school actors playing a part for the service to make students aware of what can happen. At least for Arizona any drinking of alcohol by a person under 18 is illegal and even if no one dies you will face charges for consumption being under age.

Honestly, I have to say, this was probably one of the worst videos of these I’ve seen. Not the video itself, the video was good, actors did a great job; but, the school students. As soon as the students gather outside, all I hear is loud talking & laughing. Obviously it’s all staged, but, these kids clearly don’t know that they’re meeting outside because people died. Most are paying no attention to what’s going on… When the field sobriety test is going on, I see one girl doing jumping jacks, like she’s having the best day. It would almost be a shame is this was real, would they really behave this way?
This does happen… it’s not funny, there’s nothing to be laughing about… if your school does this, take the time to stand or sit there & pay attention. Drinking & driving isn’t worth it, if you drink, stay home, get a ride, be prepared. If your arrested for DUI & you’re in the medical field, have a CDL, military, your job/career, is over. If you kill someone because of it, not only is your job over, but, your life, because it will mostly be spent in prison, if you’re lucky enough to get out.

I remember when I was late for high-school one day they were doing this and they had it set up so good I thought it was real they had blood all over the place and one of the actors was laying on the hood of the car as if they went through the windshield it tripped me out cause I was stoned as hell too lol then I seen the crowd of kids watching I was like ok thank God cause I wasn't ready to have to jump into action and help these people who were bloodied and dead
This video is not a joke, however the students were actors and were not injured. Thanks to Police, Fire and paramedics this video could be made in the hopes lives are saved for anyone, children or adults that might make the right choice to stay away from a hospital, morgue or jail!! These videos need to be a part of the curriculum of all junior and high schools and for those seeking a driver's license!!! I worked in my local county jails for 20 years and witnessed the devastation caused by a person arrested, charged and convicted because of a vehicle accident with alcohol or drugs and other substances used! All of the families are effected when this happens, not just those that die!!

What gets me is they are trying to teach kids what can happen if you drinking and drive and so many of them were laughing, talking in their own little groups and just thought it was funny, let's see if they think its funny when it happens to them.
Those that did not take this serious might be the next ones involved in a car accident due the use of alcohol, medications, drugs. If they are the motor vehicle driver in an accident and found under the influence they can face decades in prison!
