What are you using to receiver your weather data. Subscription based? Are you using a separate ADS-B receiver that also receives weather? What is the hardware setup?

All of the datalink weather scenarios illustrated in this webinar came from flying with ForeFlight and the Sentry Plus ADS-B receiver. Sentry picks up the subscription-free ADS-B weather/traffic information and sends it wirelessly to an iPad or iPhone running ForeFlight - www.sportys.com/sentry-plus-ads-b-receiver.html

@@sportyspilotshop Thank you for the reply. I suppose it was assumed knowledge but that may have been helpful to briefly describe the hardware setup and source of the weather info and that it's part of the data stream from the ADS-B receiver. I saw ADS-B datalink listed as a bullet in one of the early slides but this wasn't embellished as to the setup and that the weather data is part of the data stream without additional subscription.
