Believe me when I say… you really have to try it to believe that it weighs nowhere near the 175kg / 190kg paper weight.
Also, here are some additional observations while riding the 450MT here in Palawan for a whole day with 60/40% offroad.
- Bike has almost non existent heat while we rode it under intense beach heat offroad.
- Extremely fuel efficient, only 2 bars was deducted in its 17.5L fuel tank capacity
- I feel faster and more comfortable riding this than my dessert sled
- The extremely light clutch, easy to find neutral and smooth transmission made the ride more enjoyable
Someone said the consumption was around 20 km per liter...if you going to talk about gasoline consumption be more specific (2 bars says nothing, at which speed way of riding , terrain etc).someone said it weights around 200 kilo wet weight, for a 450 is not light at all....which benefits did you get to advertise this amazing motorcycle, as you sound like a ''sales representative in his first days at work''?
So pretty much the same as a honda nx500
@@ekimandersom4478 lighter by few kilos
Mate you don't have to go this hard on selling this bike.😅
Please review HIMALAYAN 452
CFMoto is doing a great job offering alternatives to the big brands with relevant features and more affordable pricing. This is really beneficial to the motorcycle community because it will clamp down the aggressive pricing of the big brands.
The best part of their alternatives is they are actually listening to what riders are asking for and bringing them to market. There’s a place for liter and larger bikes but they are not ideal for most riders as they are a handful off-road.
The CFMoto 450MT and Kove 450 Rally are filling a niche riders have been asking for for years. A big thank you to CFMoto and Kove for listening.
@@krisholt8390 if they can shave the weight issues their bikes usually have then it'll make their bikes more enticing. my 450mt is coming next month!
The best feature of this entry level adv is it's tubeless spoked rims.
agreed. the fact that this is not standard on the transalp and tenere is silly
I would of bought the transalp if it had tubeless rims.. to add them in my country is around $1700usd without tyres
@@misterchuck6866 transalp was my first choice but that airbox placement under the friggin gas tank is what swayed me away from it. ridiculous design.
@@misterchuck6866 Agreed...I sold my Tenere after a rear wheel puncture left me stranded. With tubeless, I could have plugged it and ridden on.
Once this gets released in the US fall of 2024 it’s going to sell like crazy!!! I can’t wait to see it in person.
Another excellent review Juanico! This one is part of my shortlist for my next big bike.
First timer seeing your review. Short and detail. Thanks for elaborate this awesome bikes
I got the 450nk, the motor is great and punchy for city and enough for some fun in twisties. Reprogramming and opening the air accompanied with a nice exhaust, oh boy you will love it.
I would really love to try this one out !
Euro 5 regulations restrict the motor a lot..
I never thought the day would come...na magagandahan ako sa mga ADV bike! Good job again CFMoto!
Solid review bro!
Awesome review, the IBEX 450 looks fun. I cant believe it took this long for a company to FINALLY make a motorcycle with features customers actually want!
Nice ,really like this one 👊🏼😎
Thank you Juanico for the review, i have looked into these CFMoto's and i think they would be a great choice for over there and i may get one but maybe the 800 to get around Pangasinan when we get back over there.
Very good review, punchy and straight to the point. How about on road performance or when slow in traffic
THANKS FOR THE VIDEO
CFmoto really thought of everything for this bike.
Sana all nakapag review na ng bike❤, to excited narin for the same opportunity ❤
Looks like Tenere's little bro...!!! Awesome piece of engineering...!!!
Yes, I think we've all waited too long for a Tenere 400-450cc lighter bike. 450MT filled a gap no company was willing to get into. This is way different than 390 ADV and RE Himalayan
Beautiful!!! ❤❤❤
I really really want CF to make a scrambler with this engine!!😍
Japanese and European big brands are resting on their laurels. This is the very unicorn bike thousands of bikers have been asking and waiting for for many years.
You’re joking right, I have an aprilia Tuareg it makes the cfmoto look silly
@@gordonshaw6231 Have you already tried the CFMoto?
@@gordonshaw6231 If you are talking about the 660 then for AU$22,000 I would bloody hope so. Question is, is it $12000 better?
NIce review!
This will be my next bike, I'm tired of waiting for a Versys x400, as the owner of a 1st gen 2017 Versys x300, this is the evolution i have wanted for a couple of years already. It took me 3-4 years to really feel like the Versys x300 is no longer enough for what i need it for.
For what it is not enough?
how nice to have one these someday..
CFMoto appears to have done a fantastic job with this bike! 👍 👍
love it :)
This one is really good❤
Thanks u dear gr8 motorcycle, like it

Nice review. We're you at the launch?
Now make us a lighter, faster, 17” rimmed supermoto based on this chassis!
Great review... I'm Australia and would love to get this bike once I get my license... that or the CRF 300 Rally are my choices.
Get the 300 rally mate, 190kg and 45hp equals to heavy for the dirt and slow on the road.
I had crf300l. Sold it. This bike is only for light wood terrain. Very unimpressed on asfalt. Sucks. And bad on enduro routes. I want something for everyday drive to work on asfalt. And get some opportunitie to drive in to wood roads and gravel. Ofcorse no enduro routes. Think this might be the one. 24hp on crf sucks. Had drz400sm. Was much more fun with 10x better suspension. Just outdated.
I think the 450 will be a great bike to learn in and you won’t outgrow it too quickly.
yes specially the kove 450cc motocros rally a finisher in Dakar motocros rally 2023
I need this in India ❤
@@TheAttacheyess....... Except for after sales and suspension I can't think of anything where the Himalayan beats this.
@@TheAttache really bro? Just by looks alone, this one is much better, we need competition in the market too.
What you call an aftermarket seat I think is a CFMoto factory option, correct?
I agree, it would still be a great option for even more money!
I want one, and a 450SS/SR 😊
This might be my first bike if it comes to America. Its loaded with everything .
CF moto are opening a booking now in Indonesia with USD 10K ( due to >250cc tax regulation ).
Tgis is the best bang for buck ADV bike available. Cant wait for it... thx bro
Nice
Ang Ganda!
Looks great on paper, now we have to see how it performs in the long run and how is the reliability....
it seems really great! Im torn between this and the new Royal Enfield 450
When compared to Himalayan, this is a whole lot more of motorcycle that is very well thought off. The only thing you might need to install are crash guard and panniers other that that its ready to be taken on and off the road.
They originally make 4x4 before motos unsurprised that CF Moto made an awesome offroad...
CF Moto nailed it
I guess we'll see.... wet the weight isn't much behind the Tenere 700.
Price will be the make or break future of this motorcycle
Is there any phone connectivity with the screen? Turn by turn navigation? This bike sounds really good. Thanks for the nice review

Congrats! Jericho is love charet. hehehe
Parang yamaha tenere 700cc and ducati desert x 950cc sa itsura nyan pero mukhang mag ka level up
Sound check naman pag niremove silencers hehe
Where can I buy this bike now in the Pinas?
It isn't so lightweight considering it can easily go over 203KG wet along with crash guards and stuff. 175KG is dry weight. It's only around 10KG lighter than 600-700cc competition
I think it’s a great looking bikes with loads of features, that make it ALSO the perfect “ light weight ADV / Dual sport bike “ BUT a few flaws
1. 190kg Wet - that’s not light for a 450 twin ( yes it is when you compare to say a Himalayan 450 - single , BUT not when you compare it with a Aprilla 660 Turgarg , Yamaha T7 , or KTM 890 - they are only 203-205 Kg wet . And you get Italian flare , Japanese reliability and dealerships. PLUS more power ( for only a slight weight increase ) so Power to weight ratio would be better on the mid weights ADV bikes . And I know Chinese bikes are definitely improving in quality, reliability and ability. But politically still Chinese.
Unfortunately the perfect ADV needs to be no more than around 165kg wet and THATS the perfect ADV / Dual sport . Only to my knowledge 4 bikes on the Market that are close to the perfect ADV / dual sport - that will do off road as good as on ( almost )
1. Husky 701, KTM 690 and Gas Gas 700 - basically all the Same bike .
2. AJPPR7 and
3. ( well not made anymore) stopped in around 2018 SWM RS 650 - the old Husky TE630 .
ALL these bikes are around the 165kg wet , can easy sit on road and HWY speeds + , can be made into gear ADV bikes , probably the AJPPR7 is ready to go out the box .
So until we get an ADV ( twin ) under 165kg wet will never have the perfect unicorn 🦄 bike .
Well said saw this after I commented. Totally agree.
Manufacturing and supply chain is complicated. All viecle are fully loaded with origin Chinese parts, KTM390 is mainly mounted in India, but KTM put the wheel on in Malaysia and stamp it for Chinese market. Fuck politics, it's all about supply chain. Manufacturing find it's own way around.. So, I focused on a good rally bike for my personal purpose.. Super happy with my Kove450rally, 140kg and 31liter gasoline
Everything you say is correct, but they are all twice the price.
Not everyone has $25-30k to drop on an adventure bike.
Plenty of people will buy one instead of a second hand bike.
I think they’ll do well tbh.
@@multiadventure Yes agree the Kove is probably the best kitted out single Dual sport / light ADV to date ,at 140kg , I have heard that weight is not 100% accurate? is that wet ? , also supply chain and dealer network is a big one ☝️ for the Kova 450 . It’s also as you would know an unknown as far a reliability and long jevity . I would take a AJPPR7 over a Kovo 450 , same dealer problems but the bike has been around since about 2017 and all bugs on bike have been sorted . And made in Portugal - with ALL top quality components.
@@user-eh9ms1rq1rthanks mate 👍

Looks amazing, but like my cb500x, also I'm in Canada.
Does the 450nk also has removable muffler silencer?
Where does the weight come from?
MAD TV - Australian motorcycle journalist and through the bike was pretty good for the money 💰, but more light off road ADV and just finishing texting the Himalayan 450 this week, The 450 Himalayan is better off road and still ALMOST as good on road . My money would be the Himalayan 450
To each his own ✌🏻 I personally prefer the 450mt
What is price of India ? When he launch
When it will come to India?
Crf is easy made into adventure with bigger tank and screen, I chose the verseys 300 to compare because it’s a twin. You can’t call 450mt light weight because it’s heavy af . Ktm 690 is 145kg, crf300 rally 152kg. Tell me what 40hp bike its lighter than?
If 450my is heavy for you then you got problem😂
@ angry-lynx ridiculous comment, I have a thousand cc adv bike that weighs 200 plus kg why would I want a 450 nearly as heavy. 😂
CF Moto cams made for the KTM 790/890 and failing left and right in as little as 7-8,000km of use and causing KTM problems left and right. You won’t see a CF Moto bike in developed countries that’s for sure.
CF moto dealers already established in the UK been selling CFMoto bikes for about 3 years.
He tenido motos trial, trail y maxitrail desde hace 45 años.
WHY IS IT SO HARD FOR MANUFACTURERS TO JUST MAKE AN ENTRY LEVEL ADVENTURE BIKE THE WAY WE WANTED??!?!??!
It's funny how a random Chinese manufacturer became the one to release exactly what we wanted.
Lets compare it to KTM Adventure 390. The name is "Adventure" but that's a street bike. You cannot convince me otherwise.
BMW GS310. It looks like a Touring/Adventure bike, it's not. It's a streetbike that is massively underpowered.
Honda CB500X. That's a street bike. The streetest bike in the world. Yes, cry about it. You FILTHY STREET-ONLY-DWELLER.
Honda CRF300 Rally. That's just a pitbike. Don't call it "Adventure".
Any bike is an offroad adventure bike if you ride SLOW ENOUGH.
Sorry guys, I was just frustrated. I am happy about the 450MT.

With a lithium battery one can take out further 2 kg or more. Or it mount a lithium battery already?

Great bike indeed! A lot would say that the bike is overpriced. But I greatly disagree, with those specs and creature comforts. It’s worth our hard earned money.

Only time will tell. but you only have to look at this bike's siblings that have been out for almost 2 years now (450SR, 450NK, 450 CLC)
Also, the fact CFMOTO also manufactures 790 KTMs and Smaller Yamaha bikes for China in the same factory / automated production line

It's not a lite bike though for its power output? Can't believe how low the seat is my crf 300 is 100mm higher. But I struggle with that a little, 850mm would be perfect.
there's a 870mm seat accessory.
