They're talking over each other as well.
I own this model and did some tweaking. The tuners are actually Ping Well, I replaced them with Gibson Deluxe. We also solded in a Switchcraft 3-way switch. Why it wasn't in there, I don't know. What I do know is that it is an amazing guitar. I love the Gibson 345 looks.

Have you had any problem with the Eastman truss Rods?
Is the classic color on the T486 consistent? The one in this video looks super nice but I notice in pictures on the web the flame lines look a little too bold.
Somehow the red figured maple doesn t show very well on video and photo. Don t know why. I ever saw a Hagstrom lost looking oranje. In truth it has a brilliant shiny look through figured maple top.
The same holds for my red figured maple T486B.
Closer to an es-339 I would say.

Mr. Shields, I agree completely. One would think musicians have a vocabulary large enough to find a suitable synonym for "Killer." One would also hope that middle-aged men refrain from sounding like a post-pubescent '80s surfer.
