Feel your pain Ben. Had LDU, Serong, Gawn, Sheezel all preseason and got sucked into some round 0 bullshit and started without them. Hurts, but just got to ride the waves but so disappointed in myself, usually start the season strong but spud up towards the end. Hopefully it’s the opposite this year.
I feel you. I have been so busy with work and family and then you try look at teams but it's family time (dinner, bath, bed etc) so I just try force decision in smaller windows haha.
Hi Ben, two rage trades for me this week. Fisher🪓>Berry, Martin🪓>Serong. I was going Billings intead of Berry, but this way I will have enough💰to go Gibcus🚑>D'Ambrosio next week. Will also be looking at Windsor>Fyfe if the Dees sub him again.
I'm now in a weird spot where Young is likely to head back into DEF and Short ended up playing around the wing. Wines didn't get the CBA he was praised to get. Fisher only fished from one pocket, and Martin couldn't hit water falling out of a boat. Add no Flanders + Gibcus + Reid and I think I'm definitely burning a boost to realign my team lol
I know how you feel Ben, I went from a GnR team to a value team between R0 & R1 and am now regretting it. I also have Young, Wines I still have hope for and after having Flanders F1 all pre-season, went with Jackson instead, for ruck cover. I would love to use a boost this week, I still might, but at the moment I'm saving the first one for next week. @@SuperCoachInsider
One thing for Martin that I would say is that he normally doesn't butcher the ball like he did on Saturday... Hopefully he bounces back this week
Great video, Ben. Round 1 always throws up some surprises. So, most teams will be impacted. Was expecting to do correction trades. Is it best to correct premos, mid-pricers or rookies after round 1?
Usually you'd always like to wait until the bubble. I'm considering Gibcus to D'Ambrosio this week, only because others will make that move for more points on field. If you will get priced out of Billings Flanders etc, then make a move. Sit where you can
Windsor is a gun, Dee's will find a way to keep him in the team, he's also better than Hunter, so I don't think hunter kicks him out the side
Was more of the fact they had Billings sub last week, then subbed Windsor this week. If you add another similar type to the side, does that increase the risk? Was just something I was weighing up. I think he looks good and is someone that could have a big game at some point if he kicks some goals too
@@SuperCoachInsider my guess would be they're subbing him to keep him fresh for the year. Not a must have for SC but I'm keeping him till his bye, 180k if another rookie comes along after a few price rises I might downgrade early
Tossing up If N.Martin and/or Fisher fail to score well next week if its better to move them on and prevent cash loss and move to players on the bubble, or trust the role and hope they come good
I'd trust the role for another week where possible. Unless you feel you'll have a lot of changes to make next week, then I'd say make some moves now to get ready for next week.

M Hore or Borlase ? Borlase does look good thought. I did say Traps everywhere and of course i fell into a few myself haha
I'd wait a week on both. Hore looked questionable in parts but came good. I'd always wait a week on rookies
Hi ben, great video. I have Grundy & Xerri as my starting rucks. Considering downgrading fisher to a rook and upgrading Grundy to Gawn. Is it too early to trade out Grundy and is Gawn a must have before his price rise? Out - Gibcus, Grundy, Fisher & In Dambrosio, Gawn, Khamis plus $93.5K cash
I think Grundy will do okay. Sydney is more narrow than the MCG which I think will help ruck contest numbers. I'd wait tbh because Grundy still has that big game in his cycle, and he plays WCE soon.
Gawn wont go up much fast he only slightly over his Be after his low rnd 0

I'm tempted to hold. If Sheezel gets attention, it's Fishers world. Issue is, Fisher played one side of the field if you see the head map. I'm tempted to go Fisher to Billings and Martin/Wines to Serong against North

Definitely one of those weeks. I feel a lot of people are feeling pain in similar ways tbh. Always easier with one more week's data but with Round 0 players, it makes things more difficult

Fisher seems to be the most frequent question atm. I'd rather wait on him unless it can get you to someone really important that you've missed. Fisher isn't going to av50 and Heeney isn't going to average 130+. Heeney has questions once Adams/Parker are back, so I'd probably wait a week where possible. Then be aggressive and move. But back yourself.
Bonner and Fiorini could have been in my team, wish I'd gone that way instead of Martin and Clark. I had the cash spare just zigged when I should have zagged. Too late now?
Not too late now. 40 trades .eans you can change it up. I'd wait another week though to make sure you have more data on the move

Unless Fisher to Billings can get you someone up to a premium. I think the best 18 is probably great for a Martin and Fisher type to see what they produce tbh. Then use your 3 trades and go aggressive. Only change to that is if you want Serong vs North or Billings/Fisher/Heeney before a rise.

doing - Gibcus to Massimo, Fisher to Billings (but could be Fyfe not sure) then I did Nuke to Serong. I did not like the way Young played for Freo - tempted to ditch him. Clark - Cats played poorly - looking at dumping next week. Reid - Dons an issue too etc etc...
This looks like it will be a tough year as my 50/50 selections bar Tom Green did not pay off. I was also one of the Hogan non starters; however, he's due to increase 71k, not sure what to make of next round. I'm not sure about Berry but if he goes 55 + 55 he makes 100k. So I kind of want it lol. Not sure if go Fisher to rookies just yet. Mind you if it looks like you need a stack of cash for moves next week then do what you've got to do. I don't want to play it too safe starting this year because I feel being selectively aggressive is key
