Love your channel. Mom and i have been growing (me) and making tinctures and balms (her) for decades- more a seasonal sort of thing than than your amazing, dedicated system.
I love my wool mattress - I made it myself 15 years ago.
How did you go about making your mattress please?...rather intrigued & wouldn't mind giving it a go one day 😊🙏...thanks in anticipation from sunny Yorkshire in the uk 🇬🇧 😊
@@kittin9018 I ordered organic canvas and organic wool. Measured my bed and cut material to make a “box” to allow a high loft of wool as it will compress . Packed it tight and sewed it closed. Then I made a canvas slipcover for it to keep mattress clean. I flip mattress frequently and wash cover 2 times a year. I also put a mattress pad (thin) over the cover. The mattress is still in great condition. Hope this helps.

We live a few minutes from Columbia, TN. Hate missing the homestead festival this year. Passion Fruit plant grows wild in our fields. I have brought some to my garden. I love the passion flowers. I love your videos, also!
Get a Purple Martin house. Start trying to attract a colony to your house in the early spring of the year, and they take care of the gnats and mosquitos during the day.
We have the same design cattle panel archways...we do grapes and black berrys on permanent set ups... peas, cantelope, honey dew, butternut and spagehtii squash on seasonal portable archways. The squash get so big we had to build bra to support each squash to the panels or theyd break off. It works good and keeps the produce off the ground and lower risk of rot.

I too, live close to Columbia, and I sooo wanted to come this weekend, to meet you in person. But it is just not in God's plans for me this year. My niece lives near you, and we have talked about me making a trip to see her, and I've told her that we need to find out about some of your workshops so maybe I could plan my trip when she and I could participate in one. Skullcap tincture is my #1 for this. If you have a health food store it's there in tincture or tea. We're wrapping up homeschool for the year too. I'm with you on the feeling!!

I’m not sure if you’ve done any videos where you’ve touched on arrowleaf sida but I’d love a video or part of a video on this plant; it’s growing everywhere on our property this year but I don’t see as many people talking about it despite its apparent medicinal benefits! I live in west central Ohio, and my passion flowers will not grow! I don't know what I'm doing wrong 😢 I would have loved that tincture when I was school-age, and would have called it "No To First-Day Jitters!"😂

I really need to make a lemon balm tincture! I have so much of it!! And I was just going to ask if putting it in warm tea would help dissipate the alcohol, what proof vodka do you use again?

when mixing multiple tinctures is there a chance on having a bad reaction? I'm very new to this but am so thrilled to have found your channel! One more question, is beebalm the same as lemon balm?
In case nobody else answers.. Lemon balm is different. Mixing things could give an affect that you like.. or dislike..and you won't know which herb to credit. As they say..simples work best when you're new. Following as I'm interested in her answer. I know nobody asked me!😂😂

Hey - Best not to keep chickens and turks in the same coop. Chickens can carry a disease (that doesn't harm them) but that can be very serious for the Tom if he picks it up.
