In this video I'll show you how to transform a transparent acrylic clutch bag with gold accents, using some dried flowers and resin.
This bag can be perfect as home decor to display your favourite pressed flowers, keep watching to find out how to preserve flowers in resin.
To make the bag, start by unboxing the clutch and draw around it on a piece of paper.
Next, take your pressed / dried flowers and plan out your design in the box you just drew out.
Once you're happy with the layout of the flowers place them in, so that the side you want to see once the bag is done, is face down. that way when you have finished and closed the bag you'll be able to see the side of flower you want.
Without moving the bag around too much, to avoid the flowers from moving, pour over your resin. Be careful not to get the side parts in (which keep the bag from fully opening and also keep stuff inside from falling out). You can push these so they fold the opposite way while you're working on the resin part.
Next either cure with a UV light/leav out in the sun or leave to cure for the required amount of time if using epoxy resin.
Then you're done! You now have an aesthetic clutch bag.

Sooooo pretty, Soooo quick. Love it!
Thank you 😊
How long does the resin take to dry?
Hi, so I used UV resin and it took around 10 mins under the UV light. You could also use Epoxy resin which cures usually between 24-48 hours. Thank you for watching 😊 are you going to make one?
@@craftinfinityandbeyond9023 yesss i was thinking of making this and maybe a resin keychain! :)
@@teniolaking8495 oh lovely! I hope you enjoy making them ☺️
How many grams of resin did you use?
Hey I'm not sure as I didn't weigh it out, I just poured it over until the flowers were covered. Sorry that doesn't really help much!
Can you link the resin you used?
Sure this is the resin I used: www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07SDDW3Y1/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_9J6NKM5D9FR6XKQVP5T8?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Do the resin turn yellow
Mine didn't, I think it depends on the brand but I've not had problems with yellowing and I've used a few different brands.
What is the brand of uv machine
How many volts?
It's the rainbow mini, it came with a kit so I'm not sure you can buy it separately. But most UV nail lamps will work with UV resin.
@@yldrrylmaz9984 I think it's 6 watts
