Instead of selecting the apps one by one, just use the ‘mark files’ button and mark each one you want to copy across. Then hold select on any one of those marked apps and select copy. All of the marked apps will then copy across, saving you a lot of time.👍
Wonderful instructions! However, I had to do two things. 1) I had to format my reformatted FAT32 USB drive again on the firestick (no problem). 2) In X-Plore settings, I had to check the box that says allow X-Plore to access USB for OTG function. This is the best and most comprehensive instruction I have seen on the topic.

One extra consideration for Kodi users, which is typically the most involved set-up if having to start with a fresh Stick - back up your Kodi configuration using the Kodi Backup Add-on in your primary stick and also copy that to your drive; then when initiating Kodi on the new stick, just install the Backup Add-on first, then restore the saved configuration.
Just a quick edit of my post with a better method for Kodi- I did this yesterday and even easier, rather than the Backup Addon described above; and within the scope of your excellent video, while you are already in X-plore, is just to copy the .kodi file; then after installing the kodi apk in your new stick, just overwrite the .kodi file with your saved one - that gave me an exact clone with all my add-ons, custom skin settings and Trakt and Debrid authorizations already complete.
BTW there's some new features added to fire stick (only accessible in the US for now) by pressing once the microphone on remote.... Check it out through your VPN... ❤️
That what easy that you did it just like reset it remove everything than put on your other firestick than copy to another that was trick from the same usb flash drive or external hard drive then I think you said use the same otg aswell that cool you is a fine lady at what you do

This is a bit of a random question but if you have a USB stick connected to a fire stick by otg cable if you get a new fire stick can you just connect that USB stick to it and it will be recognised and worked or you have to format it and start again
If it is used for additional storage ONLY and NOT system storage (for installing more apps) then yes, you can plug it into a new Firestick. If it is partitioned as system storage, a new Firestick will not recognise it and you will have to start again. Thank you for watching 😊👍❤️

You need to back it up using a program such as ADB Link on your PC. There may be other ways to back up Kodi. Have you tried Google? Diggz is no longer available to install from a repo; his builds have been removed. That could be an issue if you try to install it again.

I received the same message when I tried to download x-plore. Problem parsing the package. So I tried downloading an older version, with no luck. @@FireTVSticks
The issue occurs when selecting the .apk from the USB. Rebooting the device solved it. Perhaps because it's a new device and required us to enable developer options, external storage, and app settings for the file explorer.

Nice option, but my perfect setup may not be the same as my wife or son’s perfect setup. The only reason I would do this is if I was upgrading my FireStick to a newer option like a 2nd Gen to a 4K MAX and even then there are some Apps that work an older FS and don’t work well on the newer FS’s.
I add the apps on I copy and add them when I hook up my other stick. Tried to go to my usb don’t see the programs that I installed on the first stick like it’s not reading the card. ? Is there a settings I have to turn on

I don’t have a second fire stick to test - planning to get one soon and will have to try it.

You can clone settings and official apps, but other apps you have sideloaded will have to be re-downloaded or copied in the way shown in this video.

I too wish to copy apps from my FS v1 to FS v2.
problem is that while my FS v2 sees perfectly my SanDisk 32GB (fat32) , my FS v1 does not , swopped around all the bits I can but still no joy, looks like it’s a problem with my FS v1?
Any Ideas I could try?

question i followed everything but when it copied over a ?, when you click on it it says there was a problem parsing the package. what do i need to do to correct this. do i have to leave the instalation file and not delete it. thank you, great videos
Does this occur when you try to install the app on the new Firestick?
I received the same message when I tried to download x-plore. Problem parsing the package. So I tried downloading an older version, with no luck. @@FireTVSticks
The issue occurs when selecting the .apk from the USB. Rebooting the device solved it. Perhaps because it's a new device and required us to enable developer options, external storage, and app settings for the file explorer.
Hi Tanya, What Version Of X-Plore Are U Using? When I Typed In The Numbers On Downloader For X-Plore And U Said To Scroll All The Way Down To The Bottom Of The Screen And You'll See A Search Box , There's No Search Box At The Bottom Of The Screen, Can U Help?
Instead of using Downloader, you can now install X-plore from the Amazon Appstore.

Hi Tanya just a quick question about cloning firestick I already have have extra USB storage through the OTG cable. Will X-plore still pick up apps on external storage. Can you please put the app Lepto version 1.0 back on your website as new version 2.1 comes up with no Internet I unfortunately updated it from your website and it does not work now. @@JohnSmith-bd2ec Yes, you will need to disconnect the flash drive. However, if any apps are installed on the external drive, you won't be able to copy the APK files once it is removed.

Hi Tanya, another great idea to try out, and I’m guessing that you could then delete or reformat your flash drive and use as extra storage for your firestick, so no waste. Just a quick question…will this still work between os6 on my 4k and os7 on my lite. ❤️❤️

Nice option, but my perfect setup may not be the same as my wife or son’s perfect setup.
The only reason I would do this is if I was upgrading my FireStick to a newer option like a 2nd Gen to a 4K MAX and even then there are some Apps that work an older FS and don’t work well on the newer FS’s.

I add the apps on I copy and add them when I hook up my other stick. Tried to go to my usb don’t see the programs that I installed on the first stick like it’s not reading the card. ? Is there a settings I have to turn on
