@patrickgaddes2296 Well, I should preface.. He's tied with Brock using ESPNs algorithm. Which I normally don't go by, but considering these guys are ESPN and use this version of QBR, I felt it needed to be brought up that they, themselves, have Dak at #1.
@@CStove Number 1 in points scored and Number 1 in points allowed. Those are the only numbers that really matter at the end of the day. Yet these talking heads will put other teams up as the #1 offense and/or #1 defense. If I score more than you score I will always WIN, only thing that matters. You can have 450 yards of passing and 34 points but when your defense gives up 475 and 35 points you LOOSE.

This is why sports media is such garbage. The Cowboys have the same defense, but they have played together more. They are playing better with Pollard and Lamb being fresh, and McCarthy isn't just calling the plays, but they actually have switched some things up, and put in some new wrinkles, and are making less predictable playcalls compared to the past when it comes to down and distance.
But none of it matters until week 10 or so. Wait until the rest of the NFL has some film of the Pats D, the 49ers D, and the Eagles D playing the Cowboys. Wait until Dak is in end of season form, and Pollards legs ain't fresh, and Lamb is tired and/or injured. Will the Cowboys D be able to help them win those close games, or will Dak give those games away like he always does?
You would think the guys that actually played the games and sat in meetings with the coaches would bother to talk about what actually occurs, but instead it's all just hype and "oh they so good".
