How hard could it be to give us hair sculpt options, a blue jacket and even a hoth jacket - call it a DX - maybe two headsculpt a? Jeeze.

I was just watching your previous video late last night talking about Padme. I am an old geezer and an OT guy. Then I wake up this morning to this. This is amazing. A day one pre-order for me. However, I do agree. There is something with the hair. That being said, I can't wait.

Really love the figure. My first impression was over the hair as well. It's almost like "glamor shot Han Solo" instead of the more rugged look where he's got some "action ware" in the hair. We need more OT stuff! Come on Hot Toys!!

This is not Return of the Jedi Han Solo, this is an older likeness of Harrison Ford, so we haven't seen this Han Solo version in any movie. This is 90s Harrison Ford with 80s hair
I don’t have a problem with the sculpt, just the hair, but it’s subjective to each individual

Is the long sleeve blue jacket the only difference between ESB Han and ROTJ Han? Hot Toys still needs to give us Bespin Han.
This is great timing, I was recently considering kit bashing 2 Hans to jam into the JazzInc Falcon and to pair with Bespin Leia. I’ll just buy 2 or 3 of these ROTJ Hans instead.
These companies aren’t giving us any breaks on our bank accounts with all these recent nonstop announcements between JND Dark Knight, InArt Joker , etc.
I think that is the only difference between the Han character but I’m not an expert.
I’ve been considering stormtrooper Han… still am lol.
Yeah it’s getting crazy out here, especially now that mars toys is getting me to pick up some of their figures!

I purchased a loose Hot Toys 2-pack Storm Trooper set (short & tall) for $300 and knockoff Han and Luke head sculpts and called it a day.
It’s not as good as owning the actual MMS 304 or MMS 418 but I can live with it because the price is at a fraction of a cost - the secondary prices are nuts.
I'm glad that they gave us this Han Solo hopefully chewy is around the corner but I truly believe now that this is an example that hot toys does not care if it is an anniversary they're not going to give us 8 or 7 figures on one day they make the decision of the amount that they put and leave the rest for another time they're still going to put the sticker of anniversary and collectors are still going to buy them
A wise man once said, never trust hot toys to do the right thing. Lol

The hair bothers me the most.
You're right, it's 100% the hair. Too much volume, a tad too long, and way too nicely kept. It should be slightly shorter and completely disheveled. Other than that though, he's pretty rad.

I could get past the hair it’s the forehead scowl I don’t care for. Like someone else commented some hair scalps or another headpiece with a different expression would be great.

I have the same reservations about the hair and forehead wrinkles. However, given that I have the Stormtrooper Han fig, my plan is to use that head sculpt on this body (i sure hope there won't be any compatibility issues with head and neck) sans overcoat and just display the Han trooper body with helmet on. Then I'll probably just put this Jedi head sculpt on an acrylic head stand.

The hair piece is def off with that hair helmet. It needs to be a little more relaxed and not as combed and certainly not as full. Hopefully they update it for the OT collectors out there
Man, I really hope they update it as well. If not I'll likely still get it.
Need a better head sculpt, in my opinion. Hot Toys did excellent work with the new "old" Indiana. What could have happened here!?

I posted this on the official facebook page but he should come with a bag of thermal charges that he throws at the imperial officer. He doesn't come with much accessories.
True, he was a bit bare bones. I think I am just shocked and happy that we got a Han at all!

The hair was the first thing I noticed. It’s far too thick and lush doesn’t look natural. And a bit of bangs are needed.
The face looks like the best Harrison Ford likeness so far imo.

@@thejediknightswatch I didn't know anything about it until I saw your video, but yes stoked. It's still not listed by any retailers, not even on Hot Toys' own website. Hopefully this means we'll may get a Hoth Han in the future.

I’m not a fan of the base at all. It’s a figure, not a statue. Not consistent with Endor Luke or Leia.
Although it doesn’t match the other Endor figures bases, I think this is a much better look than the rectangle, printed forest bases, looks more realistic. Only question is will he have enough room to stand.
Forehead wrinkles are too pronounced. And hair is too voluminous. Where's the new Chewy ?
