That just shows the non-deleted bodies. Sadly you cannot recover the ones that get deleted from explosions or tanks :/
I think the Acolyte has an interesting plot and absolutely stellar Lightsaber fights. It's biggest problem is it can be a bit slow. The ending was very unique for a Star Wars story.
Yeah the fights In it are wayyyyyy better than in the sequel trilogy! At least they heard the complaints on that! I enjoyed the plot to, I can't comment on the end as I haven't had a chance to watch it yet actually but overall It was a decent show but it wasn't ground breaking or anything

They are hiring people for an animated show about the clones. They said possible clone wars seasons after Order 66. (It really sounds like a Bad Batch continuation) I really always thought it would happen because of all the open clone questions. But honestly, I just wanna see some more Clone wars style, TK Troopers and different clones!

I enjoyed acolyte as a stand-alone star wars series, I like that disney is trying something new instead of the fan service stuff we've been getting huge quantities of recently. I recommend giving it a shot, you may not love it, but I fairly enjoyed it!

Not sure if anyone else mentioned it, but those turrets you asked about their actual name and referred to as Hoth turrets actual name is DF.9. Which are Anti-infantry. Oh yeah, also mention of the towers having proton-shielding.
Does exist variants of the DF.9 which include the DF.9/B and Twin DF.9, the former required 1 less person to crew it though not all sure what else is different. The twin version had more armor and a faster fire rate but smaller blast radius.
There was also a light anti-vehicle turret known as 1.4 FD P-tower. Their the things that look like a satellite dish. Felt like mentioning them as well.

The Acolyte certainly wasn’t peak Star Wars, the dialog is better than most of the movies, and the plot is pretty good. There are certainly some bad parts, some things are just a bit TOO unique, like the witch coven of the show.
But most of the hate towards it is based on racism and sexism towards the cast, and the regurgitating of that hatred by other people, without the racism and sexism, but the same dislikeness. Typical “get on the wagon” internet hatred basically.

Don’t get me wrong, I love when established cannon is branched out and Star Wars introduces new things, but I just think the witch coven was a little TOO new. I loved it by the end of the show, but it was pretty offputting for most of the time. Maybe that was the point, it just wasn’t my thing, no reason to hate the show though
I would have specifically liked maybe a bit more buildup to just how unique it was, like they went from a bunch of female force users to a cult in like 20 minutes. A bit of a slower pace I think would have been easier on the audience and do justice to the lore of the coven

There were Seven Seasons of The Clone Wars. Unfortunately, I think it's exhausted. I'd rather a Stormtrooper show.
The Acolyte was more "crouching tiger, hidden dragon" than star wars. In my opinion.
The criticism of the Acolyte was almost completely unfounded and entirely rooted in racism and homophobia. Call me a shill, or whatever other derogatory dismissal term society has cooked up, but how can I come to any other conclusion when all the reasoning I've seen behind it has been either non-existent, or weak as Hell.

It does not have a purpose tbh.

@@philosotree5876 🤦♂Bro, the Sith lord was SO poorly put into the series. We don't have a name, and all the Jedi Master call it is, "OoOh, YoUU!" Which is very baby-like coming from Jedi. Also the Sith legit kills like a full squad of Jedi with ease and then can't kill Sol even though Sol had struggles going against Mae. The Sith also had no sith-outfit on him at all, like where did he get it when he killed kelnacca on the forest planet?
And RANDOM?? THE STORY JUST CAME UP SAYING THAT THE TWINS ARE CREATED AND THAT A RANDOM WOMAN CREATED THEM WITH EXTRAORDINARY POWERS. Even the Jedi don't have that power. Unless a character, (possibly Darth Plagueis, maybe seen in episode 8 season 1) Is involved into the series, it would make MUCH more sense to why the random characters, none of which who we have met before, (And I know it is 100 years in the past, but still, Yoda, Yaddle, Plagueis, and other characters were only shown in the last episode)
Lastly, the show is quite a random add, but if they do more seasons, it could be better. (this timeline is around the time of the High Order)
I was just saying that season 1 was pretty cheeks because it WAS pretty cheeks. It was not very good, The other powerful masters Mae seeked seemed to have fallen far too fast, (besides Kelnacca + Sol) and it just seemed too easy for Mae and Osha to escape in the end.
(also the force powers were a little wonky, at least coming from the witches, but otherwise they were ok I guess)
Hopefully season 2 can be better. Personally, I don't understand how people can like the last 3 movies of star wars with Rey. I really only dislike those, and the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. (This one wasnt quite the best, but hopefully with new seasons it can erupt into something good)

(This is in the timeline of the High republic, I recommend you look up the timeline because it has a lot of lore that the show doesn't entirely include, but that's not the biggest reason its not very good)
Anyways, so this Jedi Master and basically the other thousands of Jedi should be extremely powerful and should easily take down this target, but no, the Jedi get's killed from the opponent and for some reason tried to consult with her as she was trying to kill her. (Indara should have just captured Mae)
NEXT, Yord is a complete ignorant man that is almost ranked as Master in the HIGH REPUBLIC. Yet he see's Osha as a very bad threat and also, in Episode 2 he Legit is standing in the hallway shirtless and doing very idiotic things a proper High class Jedi would never do. In Episode 2, As Mae somehow finds Torbin, Torbin willingly justs decided to kill himself and say there was no other option to living because he was guilty.
And the SITH LORD? WHAT on earth. Now if Season 2 comes out and they explain who he is, I will give them that, the shows 1st good storyline part. But if he just came out of nowhere and kills all these Jedi that are supposed to be the most powerful Jedi of all time? It's stupid. The Show was not the best, but I hope they make it up with Season 2.
