Dont use plastic ballast. Paint the hills the plastic roads, put some durt on it. Paint the bridges ,weather them, put some gray sand on the hills after painting them, this plastic layout could be turned to more realistic. And dont just let the train go round and round in crazy circle. Stop them,let them wait change track. Make it realistic
