As a woman, she’s a massive misogynist and creates content for children that is NOT appropriate. I had to ask my younger sister to block her bc she was internalizing the insults on other women’s bodies and was repeating them to classmates. Had to have a talk about confidence and uplifting other people around us and mind our business about how other people look. I can only imagine if I hadn’t caught it, and she kept on watching without supervision… the affects will be long lasting
I'm a maid. A client sat their kid in front of the TV and put sniper on for the kids request. The little girl was 5 years old and she seemed to love it. I heard some swearing and sexual stuff and I turned the TV off. Her mom came back and turned the TV on lol. The kid was slapping my ass and digging around in my cleaning supplies. The mother was a gross pos who ignored the kid and got mad at her for existing. Ugh.

Sniper is for sure responsible for thousands of girls developing overly sexual and judgmental thinking and my friends in teaching talk about classes terrorized by Andrew tate boys, kids not wanting to do homework assigned by women, it’s just awful.

The issue is definitely not "We hate women in gaming" She literally is the epitome of making women in gaming a JOKE. I still hold Logan Paul accountable for the forest incident- that was a grossly stupid and irresponsible thing to have done. You can say that about people who have actually demonstrated change- she has not. There was proof of her going to restaurants and parties while leaving a child she agreed to chat to, to die- if you can't understand how this is really disgusting, then you're clearly not mentally mature enough to handle topics like these. At the time she said people were "just trying to start drama," that is not change. This isn't an incident of someone getting cancelled for saying a slur 10 years ago, this is a justified pointing out of her bad behavior. Also, this was in 2020-2021... That's really not a long time.
It is true that female creators face more scrutiny and harassment, but Sniperwolf knows this and that hasn't stopped her from bullying other women about their looks and bodies. She partakes in this exact misogynistic abuse and participates in it for her own gain - I don't see why she should be given the kindness that she denies others.

Her audience im pretty sure is mostly children. I had a class this year where students actively watched her at home and they were nasty to eachother.. she taught them it was funny to be mean. They pretty much repeated what she said verbatim and I was able to find the videos that they were re-enacting.. It’s not that kids are meaner today it’s that they see CZcamsrs make videos like hers with what seems to be silly comments and then they repeat it because they think it’s funny and then that hurts others feelings.. idk about you but I wouldn’t repeat the things she says but kids are at a different developmental level. The other reason kids may seem meaner today is the cyber bullying stuff is out of control. I don't watch her content but I'll agree with him on one thing, people literally don't care about the original creator. People that want to see funny videos look at whatever has funny videos. That's not her fault. This happens on a lot of channels. The random meme channel could get more views than the original creator ever would. They SHOULD be given credit but that doesn't mean they'll get fame.

I had personal experiences with SSSniperWolf in 2013 when we were both in the same gaming org, tK. She deleted the team dropbox that I used to sort content for our editors and proceeded to make a video about it like “oopsie! my bad!” No big deal whatever. But then I noticed whenever another girl was brought up in the cod community she would appear in the skype chat to start talking shit. Calling them a catfish if they refused to show their face (nikkyyhd most notably). I remember she boasted about how nhd had refused to 1v1 her on black ops 2 which somehow was proof she wasn’t a real girl?? She was just really obsessed with her being a girl in the cod community and always wanted to prove she was the best. Then it comes out that she was passing her boyfriend’s gameplay off as her own. I think people have valid reasons to dislike her besides the fact that “she’s a woman in the gaming community”. Everything else she’s done checks out. She knows how to ride the wave and make $$$

- she had her boyfriend play for her back when she used to play cod “call of duty” (to make it seem like she was the “built different gamer girl”)
- she was really mean to other random girls online, telling them how fat or ugly they were (seeing how mean is towards jack is prime example that she’s still mean) she could have just ignored jack
- a 10 year old girl that had cancer wanted to do a video chat to say hi and talk with her, that was the poor girls wish (lovely sniper wolf kept blowing it off every time because she said was too busy) she did end up giving 5k to the kid fund raiser which is nice but it’s really messed up, just make some time to talk to the poor girl..

They're basically forced to watch things like Sniperwolf and Mr. Beast and all the shitty prank channels because they're kids with so little agency that whatever is served to them, they are going to click on. Then the algorithm will just serve more of that.
It's a self-fulfilling prophecy, that CZcams has decided what content is most popular with kids, so it shows that by default to kids, causing the kids to click, making the content "more popular with kids," etc., etc.

Ehh I highly doubt there are people who watch her solely for her attractiveness it definitely helps her grab easy attention but I think her consistent viewers for the most part are literal children (7 to 12 years old) who watch her just for the viral videos she shamelessly steals. Ive become very disillusioned with Hasan lately to be honest. While i dont think hes doing nearly exactly what Lia does, I feel like hes become more of a "reaction streamer" over the past couple years. I used to really like him but i have a hard time watching him now unless its his podcast with QT and others, cause lately it just seems like all he wants to do is talk down to his chat and play full 45 minute amazing videos from smaller creators on his stream while most of his chat will likely never go to that channel to give their views. Im not trying to tear Hasan down or anything, I just wonder if anyone else lately feels as though his content has become less smart and more mean/lazy.
BTW i realize they only really speak about Hasan once in this video but ive seen him and many other streamers be criticized lately on this kind of reaction stuff.

I tried watching the reactions but the constant stopping, going to pee and letting the video play, or going to a completely different topic for a long time gets old. He's also harsh in some of the content I've seen reactions of.
I mean this in the most respectful way, I think people don't care about the original creators. If I'm watching a funny video, I try to find the origin. But I think most random people want to watch the funny video, it doesn't matter where it is.
He's seriously capable of making great commentary content, but I've noticed this too! I can't sit through more than 10 minutes of his streams now because it's just a blind reaction and talking with chat.

Her audience is kids, mostly young girls. My single-digit (at the time) aged child was binging sssniperwolf (always in my presence as I monitor her content by sitting with her) and I had a long sit down where I told her, essentially, "I really don't understand what you get from this channel. She is a stereotypical mean girl who just says really horrible things about people, mostly other girls, and doesn't really say anything informative or funny. Why do you like her?"
The answer? She's pretty and it's something to do. (My daughter is now a preteen and has come out as gay, which explains a lot.) I didn't ban the channel, but instead encouraged her to find videos with actual content (steering age appropriate), but I hate that there are kids out there being groomed to misogynistic views and victim-blaming behavior whose parents have no idea. I know we need to all be personally responsible for what our children are exposed to, but ignoring the "What about the children?!" argument...she adds nothing but shitty takes to the world. Who is genuinely benefitting from this content? Just Lia.

I feel like people, in general, are a lot more permitting/forgiving of women for these situations, and it just rubs me the wrong way. The reason Jack is focusing on her is BECAUSE CZcams is promoting her, CZcams is a corporation who has proven time and time again that profits trump all, arguing with them is essentially pointless. On the other hand, viewers are individuals and therefore-if they are made aware, like what jack is doing- can decide to no longer endorse that content, if it’s no longer making money then CZcams will care, or at least people will stop producing that content.
I’m explaining this because I don’t think you grasp just how insidious this type of content is. Say you spent months working on a painting, you film the whole process, you dream of making art your job, you post the video and get 2,000 views, pretty great! But! You make no money from those views, not until you reach a certain number of views and subscribers, which is difficult with all the competing media. Then, you see this huge creator watching your video! It gets 2 million views ($5,000-10,000 worth of views) and they don’t mention you at all. They essentially stole money from you, your hours and hours of work and you get essentially nothing while someone else gets rich doing it.
The whole point is to eliminate this type of content and it starts with our attitude towards people like this, and I think while it may seem like ppl are just ‘hating’ ppl should try to listen to why they are upset rather than get caught up in their delivery of that message. You also said you never watched her content, but you still side with her and that’s what I was talking about originally. People are much more dismissing of women doing this content, just like you and I’m sure many other will, but I wish that weren’t the case
