First let them maintain the existing Roads and Bridges in Vij . For eg , see the conditions of the footpaths on both sides of the Krishna Barrage . Most of the concrete slabs are badly broken and making them dangerous for the pedestrians

Yes, as of now, mostly, flyover will not be a good idea. But, Central/any Govt will always think about future(Even we can think about Amaravati).. this shouldn't again be like a benze circle flyover( Initially, atleast would have built this till Enikepadu or else atleast Rsmavarappadu ring), current benz circle flyover length is a blunder mistake).
In Future, there will be a chance to extend this flyover( or as you mentioned any under passes) upto the Vijayawada airport(but it will take a lot of time). thank you!
