Paver Walkway & Planter Retaining Wall Installation

- Here I return to a client's home to install a front 3 piece Genest Sebago Paver walkway, along with a mini Pavestone Retaining wall for a raised planter bed.
Equipment Used:
Tractor: 2019 Kubota BX23s
Grade Tool: Ziplevel Pro-2000 Altimeter
Camera: GoPro HERO 7

Nice job. Really like those pavers. Pretty sure they’re the same ones I used for a small patio for my gas grill. Like how you used a tank sprayer to set the polymeric sand. Will have to remember that vs using a hose which is harder to meter the water from.
Thanks! Yeah the general 3 pattern blocks always have a nice varied look to them. I do like the spray bottle since it helps from washing out the sand when directly spraying the joints.

Looks great, another excellent job! My silly self would have setup and dragged my 10x10 canopy over that walkway so I'd be in the shade while installing the pavers, but the sun & I are not on good terms with each other....😂 Glad you gave yourself ample breaks so you didn't push yourself too far! I did actually do that for the back patio! Works out pretty well to keep the heat down.

The only issue I have with it, and to be honest I'm not sure how it could be fixed, is the concrete piece that meets the asphalt. The slope of the driveway causes part of that concrete to be a step up while some of it is flush with the driveway. While I doubt its a significant height, it can still be a tripping hazard.
That was to be patched by the pavinng guy when he was to finish the driveway.
I use a drill with a socket instead of the pull string
Really impressed with your work. I've used the bx before. I'm think about a B. But that little trackor fits in place well. I'm thinking about doing video. What camera do you use? And what software for editing? If you don't mind.

Brian, how big of a stump would you say your E26 excavator could remove, it is kind of hard to tell how big (they looked pretty good sized) the tree stumps were in the videos of yours, that I watched? This job turned out great! Thank you for sharing with us!
It depends on the type of stump, age, ground conditions, etc. But I have pulled out stumps the size of the cab. The biggest have probably been around ~30" diameter stumps, but those will take some effort.

so what stops the retaining wall from falling over if a kid decided to walk along the top? probably a dump question but i have 0 experience with walls lol
In general, people shouldn't be walking on them! Though, the weight and size of the block will be enough to keep it from tipping off. Although with these smaller blocks, it might be worth gluing the top course if that is a concern.
