- Mallory Hagan talks to "GMA" about the emails that took aim at her and other pageant contestants, rocking the Miss America organization.
How about just fire all the people that wrote the emails and the bosses that received them and did nothing. Firing an executive that may not have been involved or were far removed from the scandal doesn't do anything at all while the peeps that wrote the emails stay employed. Lol! This is ridiculous. It's time this archaic form of putting women on display be completely revamped or retired altogether.

The scholarship aspect of the Miss America Organization makes it worthy of support. Thousands of bright, deserving and yes, even needy young women have obtained education through it.

So basically:
- Chicks went into a line of "work" where everything is given to them based *_entirely_* on how they look.
- Somebody called them fat narcissistic bitches.
- It hurt their precious feelings.
- We should care.
Why so much spite and politicizing?
Just an fyi, these contestants are technically "applying" for a job, to be a spokesperson, role model, and a voice for the community.
This 'scandal' can happen with any company, organization, group, individual, etc. so please don't act like this does not happen in everyday life.
Judging people based on their looks and how they perform their dog and pony acts is fucken demeaning. Any person who wants to be judged in this way is a little lacking in the self respect category already, and for an organization to exploit that, is pretty pathetic. I agree, get rid of this crap. Just yesterday I watched a former miss America refer to the pageant as a "women's empowerment organization". What kind of crap is that?
