That's true what you said. As a gen xer I only realised the change about 10 years ago when someone said the current music was lacking feeling and richness. Humans are emotional creatures and art imitates life. If the artists display lack of emotion it hints what society we are living in. I hope Gen Z goes alone and breaks free from this corrupted foul music industry that cares nothing about the artist and is basically looking for lifeless soulless slaves that they can manipulate to serve an underhanded social programming agenda.

As far as the struggling trying to sing-Tevin Campbell was barely 16 when he recorded this, so his voice had barely broken. Makes it a little easier to hit those high notes.
