Adventure Theatre: Meet Shady the Bear

Shady the Bear (Meagan Oliver) is preparing for visitors in her habitat: our city's local parks! Bears really like house warming presents from hikers passing through. This might include any trash, snacks, or good sniffs you might bring with you on your journey. But trust me, leave any of those items on the trail, and you might be in for some trouble. Help protect our native wildlife, and Leave No Trace!

BCT is thrilled to partner with Red Mountain Park, Ruffner Mountain, and Turkey Creek Nature Preserve for this one-of-a-kind summer family experience. Adventure Theatre is a hike-meets-theatre immersive experience that is about 1 mile in length. Lace up your tennis shoes, put on some sunscreen, grab your water bottle, and get ready to be deputized as a BCT Junior Ranger!
