My ranking of 18 to 30 L (on-road price) SUVs after driving them: 1. Scorpio N, 2. XUV 700, 3. Safari 4. Harrier. I don't do off-roading. I still booked Scorpio N due to following reasons: 1. Driving comfort (I am 6 foot tall) due to high seating and easy steering, 2. Looks (especially front and side.. but I love the rear looks of XUV more) 3. Suspension (very good on bad roads) 4. Black and brown interior theme is refreshing compared to dominant beige on other vehicles. The soft leather finish on the dash and arm rests of Scorpio N is cool. 5. Introductory prices of Scorpio N is much better than the rest. Even if I don't fall in first 25K bookings, an increase in price of up to 50K will still be cheaper than the rest. I will just remove the third row and use it as a 5 seater. But other competing vehicles are also good and have their own strengths. It is just my personal preference that I like Scorpio more than the rest. But the 8 way adjustable driver seat of Creta is much more comfortable than these 4 vehicles, especially for the tall drivers. Tata and Mahindra should increase the thigh support at least in the future updates.

Scorpio N is a good MUV. Tailgate is like that of a Metador, if people remember metador.4×4 is not a requirement for most of the people. Jungle and gaon mein rehne walon k liye ye feature jyada useful hai.
I think Scorpio N is better because big size, rear wheel &4Wheel drive, High sitting position is highest in segment , price, features, easy to drive due to light Steering & Clutch , Petrol & Diesel engine, 2 different AC unit, and luxury interior, bold & bulky looks , Big size boot space, Power of engine is more & nbh level is better, refined engine, light gear shifting, least vibration in segment, Capabilities to go off-road , primium interior dual tone interior Black and Coffee Color combination

Bhai, I have heard and seen many instances where safari/harrier both stop on middle of the road when the car is on lower RPM and in 2nd gear. In fact when you had gone to pickup Vikasbhai your Harrier had stopped in the second gear.
My question is what is the root cause of this and how frequently does this happen.

sir should one buy scorpio n diesel 4 x 4 . reason for asking is due to govt new norms which may apply from 2027 in which they may ban diesel cars. that is my worry if tomorrow some states decide to restrict diesel cars after 2027.

Mahindra Scorpio N is not fully 5 star rating in GNCAP 😆😆, it got 12 points in front impact test , according to old protocol it would be 4 stars in GNCAP with 13 points including SBR point! better read crash test report of Scorpio N then claim!!
