How to jump on different surfaces such as hard or soft ground with Kirstin Kelly.

In this video, I tell you how to ride on different surfaces such as hard or soft ground. When you are jumping on hard, slippery grass you will need to help balance the horse on the corners and appreciate that he will shorten and stiffen his stride on the corners. When the going is wet and muddy or deep, the horse will struggle to jump so the rider has to keep the canter more positive and avoid burying the horse at the base.
