I'm now 25 and when doing high school mathematics at 16 I was graded an F which is a fail in the UK grading system but this tutorial was perfect, very clear, easy to follow and has left me feeling empowered with new found knowledge.

Thank you, I'm planning on becoming a future soldier in the army and I completely forgot how to do division without a calculator, so with that said with the ASVAB having to be able to not use a calculator during the practice test I missed pretty much all of the math stuff.
I express my thanks for your tutorials, with education being a necessity in this world I am trying to ensure I do not forget important lessons I was taunt in grade school, mathematics included. Your videos helped me remember how to solve division in this form, now I hope to remember Integers, solving fractions and next calculus.

A bit long winded beginning but what really helped was remembering that if the number doesn't go into the first number, the next step is to see if it goes into the next two, i.e. 4 doesn't go into 1 so let's see if 4 goes into 10. I'm revising for my QTS numeracy test and little tricks like this really help!

The fraction is wrong. The top is the numerator and 4 is the numerator. The bottom number is supposed to be 1032 and that is the denominator. The rest of the equations are right. I learned a lot, Thx again.

The math in our class is a breeze. Its like simple rounding large integers. Im in fifth grade and i practice 7th grade math.
976 : 32 is an example of my problem. If you use this method I'll end up with 32 : 16 while there are no numbers remaining. It won't come out as a full result but i've to use "rest" dividing the numbers. So what do you do with that kind of situation.
