Currently have to make my uni decisions without having visited the universities thanks to Corona outbreak. Of course we're hoping that everybody stays safe and that's the priority but now I feel lost. I wish I could have visited the unis and I'm anxious to make such a critical decision w/o seeing the place for myself so this is very helpful thank you.
Unknown I understand it must be tough with the current situation!! But there are loads of videos out there of unis. But my personal advice is no matter how much research you do, the place you end up going to is still going to serve you 3,4,5 amazing years at uni! So don’t worry too much, just pick a good uni and enjoy yourself x goodluck!!

Oh my goodness you don't know how much you've helped by making this video! It's so comprehensive and shows us all the information we wouldn't otherwise be able to find from the university website, and somehow you made the city look absolutely beautiful

I 've been to Bristol and stayed in Clifton town, stayed at tindills park hotel, I remember walking all the way to the clifton suspension bridge, and white ladies road, going to a museum, near the city center then visiting ss Britain Avon ship museum, its been almost 12 years and still remember my visit to Bristol.really a nice place, I really loved it.
I love how bristol uni students hang around clifton and redland and think that’s it, sorted.

Great video. I have an affection for Bristol that goes back many years. We used to holiday near Weston-Super-Mare and a visit to Bristol was always one of the highlights. It's a beautiful, well laid out, city with many interesting districts. When I was a child the famous shopping street was The Black Boy which ran down a quite steep hill. At the top was an old-style coffee shop with one of those rotating drums for the beans which shot out a wonderful magical aroma. I think the street was called Black Boy because of a statue at the top of it.
Haha black boy Hill is still there! I think they might be thinking of changing the name though, after lockdown is over
King Charles II was the Black Boy, and many Inns were named after him. Hence Black Boy Hill after a pub that stood at the top named for Charles.
This will not stop the loons getting rid of this harmless history.

Thanks for your replying ` I'm so glad . Your video really helps me a lot to know about Britol. I'm looking forward to coming! But I am confusing these days.... Can you help me with this question? I am chinese and I've learned English for more than 10 years , However .most of the time the accent I learnt was American accent not British accent. I try to learn to speak in a British accent these days but I just find it's so difficult to change... I'm wondering ... Does it matter if I don't speak in a British accent? For example, will the teacher prefer the students who can speak in a British accent? Will you British people prefer to make friends with the people who speak in a British accent not American accent? Thanks a lot if you can reply when you're available.
Don't woory, the accent is a myth that everyone one who wants to study abroad in the UK worry about it, take it easy and enjoy, your time in one of the best cities to study in (Bristol). No one will prefer someone because of his/her accent alone! so no need to think about it.
It’s a shame she didn’t add any of the UWE sites and places to go. For an area so full of art it’s really relevant to us art students as well and while our buildings are not as grand the Bristol university are still great places to go and see shows and galleries which are open to the public.

HEY KYU thankyou ! :) I recommend living in nearby houses because it is cheaper but if you are attending university, it’ll be better to attend Student accom to get to know people/friends. It’s hard to find pet friendly places if you are a student tho, but some houses may allow them :) Goodluck!

Bristol, a University City, where thousands of students gather.
Try to avoid moving to a place nearby a nuclear power plant such as Bristol , Hinkley Point
nuclear power plant is within 30 miles . From 2001 . this nuclear plant occurred 4 fire and leaks 12 times !
I discover many youtubers intentionally introduce Bristol as a most decent place to live .
I guess they or their relatives or friends urgently want to escape from Bristol to avoid the nuclear disaster , so they try many cunning ways to attract people to buy their houses/flats . So they try speaking untrue information in their channels about the goodness of Bristol but hide the weakness of Bristol like the crime rate of Bristol is quite high and Bristol is within 30 miles of Hinkley Point nuclear power plant . They do this in order to mislead Hong Kong people and people of other areas to move to Bristol .
About 1 year and 4 months ago , there was a riot in the Bristol city center . Thousands of people taking part and some police cars were burnt . also some policemen were hurt . 15 rioters were sentence for many years . So far a number of people were still on trial . As a conclusion , Bristol is not a safe city . Crime rate is high when compared with many other cities like Reading , Brighton , Canterbury , etc.,
