hack saw goes through aloominium purdy good, or a skil saw if you don't care about the blade. Al can gum up an abrasive wheel, extrusion grades are usually pretty soft to improve ductility & reduce temp they draw it at. Just clean the edge with a file or wire brush in your drill. The gyro on a spun up angle grinder isn't good for those with weak wrists & all their teeth/fingers.

I put a used oak floor laminate on my van. It's a little heavy but it's going to outlast the van.
