They're bi, and their ability to love the same sex shouldn't be erased either.

How? How does someone "not get a pass" to use a flag that suits them? For 4 fucking years while I was figuring out my identity, I used different flags because I was confused. There is no definite answer at the start, especially depending on your situation at the time of your awakening. Also the girl could be bi, but since there are just girls in the scene using the lesbian flag to showcase that the attraction is wlw. It is normal to say you're in a "lesbian/homosexual relationship" even if you or your partner are bi/pan/omni and the same can be used for when you are showcasing attraction to someone. How? How does someone "not get a pass" to use a flag that suits them? For 4 fucking years while I was figuring out my identity, I used different flags because I was confused. There is no definite answer at the start, especially depending on your situation at the time of your awakening. Also the girl could be bi, but since there are just girls in the scene using the lesbian flag to showcase that the attraction is wlw. It is normal to say you're in a "lesbian/homosexual relationship" even if you or your partner are bi/pan/omni and the same can be used for when you are showcasing attraction to someone. It is not ignorance. Please educate yourself and realize others have different boundaries and experiences than you if you ever expect to have a productive interaction on the internet. Comments like this are the reason why people who actually have a valid reason to be offended still get called snowflakes.
