this happened to me during a splat fest except instead of them leaving mid battle, they never even made it in to the match. i has using the Dual Squelcher and my partner was using the lunar blaster. we finished with an 88.7-0 ink covered. this is one of the few battles i will always remember. the other one is my ranked battle to get to b+, my team was B- and B, the enemy team was B and B+, it has on Mahi-Mahi Resort in splat zones, i gust got the Hydra Splatling, this has my maybe third match with it, and somehow i managed to get a 20 - 1 kd, in reality when they killed me, my team one the match before i responded, so i'm not sure whether to should count that death because it was within the last 1.5 seconds of the match.

It was pretty cool, like this, there was just no inking done by the other team.
This happened once to me in rainmaker, so when you pop out of the spawn showing u n the enemy team, 2 people vanished from my team so im like ughhh then no one popped up on the enemy side so it was a 2 v 0 in rainmaker lol
I don't think standing still does anything to prevent you lagging out - it's random, or the people who have the worst Internet connection. During the Test Fire I had a match where 3 of the enemy lagged out and 2 of my team-mates at the same time, leaving just 2 against 1. But 2 against 0 is epic! I also love that bit at 0:50 where everyone's just standing still shooting!
