Really liking the new lense man. Colors seem to he richer and objects seem to pop more. This was the perfect event to test it out with. I used to teach photography and certainly know the value of testing new equipment and how exciting it can be.
Great event but I need fireworks and a parade and show.

That's a cool night for being outdoors in the parks compared what your used to of course !🥰 The lens is actually showing up very vibrant too ! Looks great 😊 That's cool the characters are out for this ❤ It's a walk on baby😂it is a dark room but It was really clear and not so dark! I can’t tell any difference with new lens other than when you point out everything else is blurry🤷🏻♀️
The best new camera that I could tell difference is PMM new camera is super vibrant on rides, like you are there and it follows him on its own 😁 Maybe check that out👍🏼
We were there the same night and missed you!!!!
We were upset that slinky was down for most of the night but it came back online right at the end of the night so we managed to get one ride in.
We also did what you suggested had a rest day and used the after hours event as our park day. Totally worth the money, especially for my Star Wars loving teenager!

I walked out of the airport in a t-shirt and shorts at 43 degrees in NJ. (when we landed from FLL). I only put on my sweatshirt as we had to wait for a taxi home).
I did after hours at Magic Kingdom. And loved all the walk on's. It was the 1st night of my vacation I got spoiled.

My husband and I did this at MK on our last trip a few weeks ago....SO worth it..we were able to get on 12 of our fav rides.... and left the park at midnight.
We are going for a week in April.
Monday- fly down, check in, MK after hours.
Tuesday- Uni & IoA
Wednesday- pool day, HS after hours
Thursday- hopping AK & Epcot.
I didn’t see any dates for AK after hours party.
I just about died when Slinky went down 😢😢😢Goes to show you just never know if a ride will go down. Just get on it if you have the opportunity then go later if you can. I think the after hour events are great if you want to just ride rides with little wait. I love that the characters were out so much. Total bonus!!
The only time I rode Star Tours I felt really queasy and haven't rode it since. Looks like MK has an after hours when we will be there! Might have to spend the money.

It would be great if Disney made two park schedules. They can take all the shows out at night and leave just the rides.

I WANT TO DO THIS BASED ON STITCH BEING THERE!!! LOL In all honesty though, I'd come to Hollywood Studios but sleep in, spend the day watching shows and seeing characters not at the event, and then save everything else for later!

That happened with my daughters while my fiance and I were making his saber. My daughters rode Star Tours multiple times and they were alone a couple times

@@KylePalIoUnderstandable, but going on all of those rides all of the time is going to cause more damage and more pain. Maybe give the rides a rest for a bit and see how you feel. This is coming with someone with chronic pain who loves rides. Sometimes you need to listen to your body.

Kyle the new lens looks good but the night still looks dark when you are in the rides I do not see any difference from the old to the new lens as far as night and ride darkness may turn up the brightest a little not a expert by any stretch Tower look great Mickeys also was good

Disney is smart. figures that some run disney folks would do the after dark. Not everyone do all the races.

I agree. "IF" a person/family could afford $175 for the after hours ticket, it's a great way to get in all the attractions without having to wait on long lines...especially when you have kids. But, it is a bit pricey, so not everyone could afford such an event. Question...how are you able to go on all the bumpy rides/roller coasters with such a bad back? Doesn't that only add to your condition?
Ok Kyle.. Didn't know at your age that nobody ever told you this.. You said you can't lift with you back anymore because of your confusion. You never are supposed to lift with your back. Lift with your legs. I learned that when I started weight training when I was a teenager lol
I volunteer at a local hospital in the physio therapy department and so i have that ingrained into my head.
We will be doing after hours this upcoming Thursday at MK.
Oh no! The new expensive lens, is it the best for this? We like to see the background when you are out and about ... being at Disney isn't good with the background blurred out. Maybe I am not the only one and you can return it and get a refund or find a lens that shows the background? Geesh.

Animal Kindgom doesn’t currently have an after hours event. It did pre-Covid

New camera lens looks great especially with these nighttime walkthroughs. After Hours at Hollywood Studios looks so worth it! Looks like you had a great time. I love the Prisoner Transfer zone within the Death Star. Absolutely amazing! And hey you’re almost at 200 K. 🎉🎉🎉
They let you get in line when the park closes for everyone else which is usually a half hour before the event so we were able to ride with little to no wait before the event started. We were able to ride guardians two times before the event even started.
This is probably the only way I would do a disney park. The lines are insane and I don't wanna even bother with genie plus.
I'm happy you had a good time! I'll be turning 31 in MK for After Hours in April and I'm so excited to experience less crowds and a quieter park. Such a change from the daily choas!! Lol The lens looks good, Kyle!

Would be a good event to do on an arrival day. Especially if you come late morning or early afternoon and don’t want to rush right to a park before settling into your hotel!

I’ve been to previous after hours but I don’t remember different characters out for photos. Maybe they were but was too busy riding rides. I think the new lens is good.
My sister and I are doing the magic kingdom after hours one in May. Although it’s on the second last night of our trip, so it’s gonna be a struggle to stay until 1am 😅
