I made this one day trip to St.Moritz (Switzerland). One of the most expensive places in the world. What are the prices? How is it living here?

The snow polo championship at the end of January is a lot of fun and festive.

You can stay also in towns close to St.Moritz, there you can find cheaper Hotels, or you rent a apartment. then you can take breakfast and dinner at home. its easy to go to St.Moritz by train or bus from the towns around St.Moritz. St.Moritz has also a Youth Hostel with private rooms with breakfast. Across the Hostel is a condola how goes directly in the Mountain Resort. Not everything is extremly expensive on the top of the world

Those hotel prices are a lot cheaper when it is not ski season. Good hiking + top facilities in the non-ski season are just typical prices unless you are at Badrutt's Palace or the Kumm.

You are right and wrong. St Moritz is enough expensive. As St Moritz is expensive, you are right about it, because the tourists, like Hitchcock for example. In any case Turism is work for a such many people that St Moritz is as e expensive as yoy say.
