I know it's hard sometimes to shop for guys or parents. I mainly consider a gift that is tied to their personal interest, something I feel pretty sure will actually be appreciated and used. Does your dad have a favorite hobby? If he's into sports, get him a team-related item. Or stock him up with his favorite snack or beverage. Just thinking😊
Nice idea. 😊 Also, things tied to their past. My father LOVED his scratchy wool blanket I got him that reminded him of his army days. He mentioned he liked my blanket for that reason, and when I got him one like it years later, he was so moved. It was the only gift I got him he deeply loved. He's since passed away, and it's a great memory.
The snack/beverage idea is a good one. He loves to eat so I may include that some how. Thanks!
Electricity is INSANE! What I wound up doing is going on an equal payment plan with my provider, because I know these winter months really kill me. I'm not sure if that's an option with your supplier or if it's feasible for you, but it gave me peace of mind and eliminated a lot of the dread waiting on that monthly bill.

Totally understand you about electricity. We live in FL and winter is our lower bills $325 average, summer is closer to $500 a month, that really hurts

An idea for Dad would be a basket filled with different things he likes; toiletries, snacks, socks, shirts, and a framed picture of both of you together. Feel better; and get your electric company to send someone to check your meter.

i had to put my dollars and my extra coins in my account so i can put an extra devt snowball payment then i will focus on my knitting business and my youtube channel after i pay off my final credit card debt

Hello Monet, do you have access to read the electric meter? I had to read my So Jersey gas meter because of the ridiculous amount they were charging. I took a picture of the meter, called customer service and found out they didn’t read the meter in December, it was an estimate. My bill went from $264 to $63. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I had to call and had the charge adjusted. If you’re able I would monitor the meter reads. You shouldn’t have to do it but if the charges are high, protect yourself.❤Get Well

girrrl, you made my chest jump with that electric bill. Are you in a townhouse as an apartment? Is your heater and your lights together? cause your electric bill is very high for an apartment. Thats a bill for someone who lives in a 3-4 bedroom house. You need to really check into that and find out what is going on or have someone check to see if something is on in your apartment that is pulling. That's crazy. I feel for you tho. I love that you are traveling more. Enjoy all your trips, you only live once, so go see as much of this world as you can.
Girl I almost fainted when I saw the balance. Yes my heat and electricity are included together for my apartment. It’s is a 2 bed 2 bath unit I’m just not used to such a large bill.
