Pravin is known for his fusion of hindustani, Carnatic, western and jazz music fusion compositions. Indian ragas are presented in contemporary formats. He is the first Indian to perform on the contrabass flute. Trained in the kirana Ghana gayaki ang, he is adept also in tantrakari styles of classical music.
This channel will not only bring forth new compositions through unique videos featuring his vast collections of flutes but also will be a channel dedicated to train students in the art of bansuri or the bamboo flute.

I was searching how i record bansuri easily and i got this video . This bansuri is just 💕💕💕💕💕( lovely looking and sounds great)
what purpose it serve exactly? Yes compare to bamboo acrylic flute are resistant to temperature change. But This is just one more way for plastic pollution and degrading the divinity of the instrument by making like this toy. Of course people have their choice.
It is not only that. Any flute played by a master such as Pravinji will sound good. But the fact is that plastic flutes (like the polycarbonate ones that he is displaying) cannot be as good as more rigid materials such as bamboo or carbon fiber. What benefit is the flashy lighting adding? I would say more of a hindrance to deep meditational raga music. An in-built mic has some disadvantages. What happens when the humidity rises inside the tube after several minutes of blowing? I would prefer an external mic any day because it gives you the option of testing several different mic (you are not stuck with one), plus you can vary the distance between the flute and the mic to give different effects.
