The important word in your comment is REAL. He has a mixture of authentic American music that spans the spectrum. Depending on the song, you can hear blues, country, gospel, soul and rock elements that are beautifully blended into something extraordinary. When people praised him for his efficiency after his wife told him to do something while she was changing and ready to go out, and he wrote a hit song during the time she took, she set everyone straight. She pointed out that Chris did not really write the song; great artists like him draw out the music inside them, much like Michaelangelo drew out sculptures from the stone he was working with. Initially, you could see that Patty was somewhat "anxious looking", however, that quickly dissipated and she definitely got her mojo back! The crowd (and band members') reaction were genuine and sincere. Patty, you've been out of the spotlight too long. You have a whole generation that has been slighted by not being exposed to your beautiful voice! Country music needs your return to the air waves! I hope this show has rejuvenated your desire to make a return.

Oh god yes........ When she comforted Vince Gill at George Jone's funeral, singing "Go rest high on that Mountain" .... She has always been STRONG while humble. And that is how I see Chris as well. The history runs so deep in this music... in the 1950s I would listen to my little AM radio late at night when WSM's 50 thousand watt clear channel reached all the way to Michigan. Now, I live in Nashville... high on a forested hill and listen to it on my laptop computer. Glad I lived to be 75 and that I still have ears !

💗🇺🇸 my Daddy loved this music and anybody who messed over his daughters or him will regret thier stupid actions. He wasn’t from KY but was known far and wide for his legacy.
I don't think most people truly understand how amazing Stapleton and his band are, and it extends well beyond the "country" genre that people place him into. He is a purveyor of true musicianship and the songwriting speaks for itself. Guitars and bass are plugged into real amplifiers, keys and pedal steel are being played by people, not backing tracks. I had the pleasure of seeing them perform back in September and it was one of the warmest and most authentic sounding live arena shows I've heard. Do yourself a favor and spend whatever it costs to see them whenever they come through your town, because this is a once in a generation artist and should be experienced in a live setting.

I'm an old guy, and I just discovered Chris Stapleton's band. I watched the Anthem the next day after the super bowl, because I just wasn't following football this year like days gone past, kind of like music gone past... So was cruising through CZcams today and ran across the Anthem again, and "really" watched it again. Thought I'd watch some other Chris Stapleton stuff, which brings me to this concert... I sure am impressed with these youngsters... Gives me faith in young music again. Does anyone else see, or hear, or feel comparisons to the early Allman Brothers , or Marshall Tucker? Anyway, i'm very impressed, and glad I found them.
Yes....I definitely pick up MTB. Saw them at the Horse Park of NJ for their 45th Anniversary....they were FAB!! I'm new to Chris as well. Love so many of his songs....but Tennessee Whiskey was #1....then COLD....blew me away. I hope I can get to see he live.....soon!!💜💜
I discovered him because he looked like one of my former students.... when I posted that on facebook, the student's mom replied. So that night, in this my 75th year, I discovered Chris Stapleton and reconnected with a kid who once road his horse to visit his old little school in the city of Brentwood Tennessee...... life is good !
He seems less of a "showman" and more of a deep, deep soul. The way he squeezes his eyes so tightly closed when he hits those heart-ripping lyrics.... he goes internal for a while. But here, he was back HOME... and it seemed to ease him a bit.
I teach young people like Chris... each one gifted and each one saddled with their own cross to bear... but with encouragement and love they can become beacons for the rest of us. Bless Them!

He is absolutely the most talented voice since Elvis, but i must say that you can't forget his backup singer. He and his wife sound so wonderful together. I think a lot of the songs we all love so much would not be as good without her in them. They were meant to be together and share it with the world. And thank goodness they do. When I heard them play “Amanda” and that blonde backup singer (Morgan) I was like holy smokes those 2 sound insane together! Then I find out they’re married and have kids!! Those 2 crazy voices have offspring together….those kids probably came out singing! They’re gonna be ridiculous singers if they pursue it. Love everything you do Chris!

I love Chris. His heart comes through every song he sings and his talent is so moving to so many. The most special thing to me is that he sings to his wife and many of his songs are love songs, and the interaction between him and his wife when they sing is just so amazing. @@chrisstapleton1736 I found you in 2023 and felt like I had found a tie to the past of my whole family. I am 75, my daddy was from rural Manitoba Canada. He left home at 13... hopped trains east to Windsor and walked across the bridge to Detroit. He had NO fear of heights, so at 13 he washed windows in the high-rises of 1917 Detroit. He worked a lot of jobs and eventually became a certified Master Carpenter. He and momma had 4 kids in Ann Arbor Michigan... then I came along as the "whoops !" 14 years later. I grew up loving tools, loving all animals, and curious about how everything worked .....but not loving people all that much. These days I would be considered to have a diagnosis of Asperger's syndrome. I was a clay artist for decades, loved the chemistry of glazes, then my husband of 24 years left. I was terrified and furious.... then I went back to college in my late 40s. I got a bachelors degree in Biology and my certification to teach in TN to go with my Masters of Fine Arts. My Road To Sanity was to Teach. That is the only way I can really reach out and make contact with other humans. So, here at 75, I teach Biology and Chemistry, and Geometry and Algebra and Marine Biology. My brain state curious. I teach one on one with teenagers who have significant difficulties... mostly dealing with High Anxiety and fear of school. I am finally in a place where I belong. I can finally give back to the future. I am finally feeling OK............ Discovering you and Morgan was huge and deep. Thank you .

Initially, you could see that Patty was somewhat "anxious looking", however, that quickly dissipated and she definitely got her mojo back! The crowd (and band members') reaction were genuine and sincere.
Patty, you've been out of the spotlight too long. You have a whole generation that has been slighted by not being exposed to your beautiful voice!
Country music needs your return to the air waves!
I hope this show has rejuvenated your desire to make a return.
Observe the improvise: When Chris asked Patty for one more song, it was as if Chris intended it as a surprise. It was heartwarming to see her reaction-holding a hand to her heart, Patty's voice hauls you back to the 90s with the gravitational force of a black hole. It completely rips your heart out. Even if you've never heard her music before, it evinces the nostalgia for everyone: both younger and older generations.
During that performance, Chris and Patty looked at each other and signaled who was going to sing. Moving close to the mic, Patty takes the lead and sings her song. At times, Patty withdraws from the mic to gesture Chris to "take it away." And when they both sang, it had an immense effect: The melding of the voices, the eras, the facets of country music-evolving into something new and refreshing.
It was a legendary performance.
Oh god yes........ When she comforted Vince Gill at George Jone's funeral, singing "Go rest high on that Mountain" .... She has always been STRONG while humble. And that is how I see Chris as well. The history runs so deep in this music... in the 1950s I would listen to my little AM radio late at night when WSM's 50 thousand watt clear channel reached all the way to Michigan. Now, I live in Nashville... high on a forested hill and listen to it on my laptop computer. Glad I lived to be 75 and that I still have ears !

💗🇺🇸 my Daddy loved this music and anybody who messed over his daughters or him will regret thier stupid actions. He wasn’t from KY but was known far and wide for his legacy.
I don't think most people truly understand how amazing Stapleton and his band are, and it extends well beyond the "country" genre that people place him into. He is a purveyor of true musicianship and the songwriting speaks for itself. Guitars and bass are plugged into real amplifiers, keys and pedal steel are being played by people, not backing tracks. I had the pleasure of seeing them perform back in September and it was one of the warmest and most authentic sounding live arena shows I've heard. Do yourself a favor and spend whatever it costs to see them whenever they come through your town, because this is a once in a generation artist and should be experienced in a live setting.
I'm kicking myself for not making the 75 mile drive over to Lexington to see this incredible concert. I won't make that mistake again.

I'm an old guy, and I just discovered Chris Stapleton's band. I watched the Anthem the next day after the super bowl, because I just wasn't following football this year like days gone past, kind of like music gone past... So was cruising through CZcams today and ran across the Anthem again, and "really" watched it again. Thought I'd watch some other Chris Stapleton stuff, which brings me to this concert... I sure am impressed with these youngsters... Gives me faith in young music again. Does anyone else see, or hear, or feel comparisons to the early Allman Brothers , or Marshall Tucker? Anyway, i'm very impressed, and glad I found them.

Yes....I definitely pick up MTB. Saw them at the Horse Park of NJ for their 45th Anniversary....they were FAB!! I'm new to Chris as well. Love so many of his songs....but Tennessee Whiskey was #1....then COLD....blew me away. I hope I can get to see he live.....soon!!💜💜

So that night, in this my 75th year, I discovered Chris Stapleton and reconnected with a kid who once road his horse to visit his old little school in the city of Brentwood Tennessee...... life is good !

I love its very rare for Chris to look at the crowd. Most of the time it's just him and Morgan and nobody else. He just sings to her.
He seems less of a "showman" and more of a deep, deep soul. The way he squeezes his eyes so tightly closed when he hits those heart-ripping lyrics.... he goes internal for a while. But here, he was back HOME... and it seemed to ease him a bit.
I teach young people like Chris... each one gifted and each one saddled with their own cross to bear... but with encouragement and love they can become beacons for the rest of us. Bless Them!

He is absolutely the most talented voice since Elvis, but i must say that you can't forget his backup singer. He and his wife sound so wonderful together. I think a lot of the songs we all love so much would not be as good without her in them. They were meant to be together and share it with the world. And thank goodness they do. Thank you both for making this world a better place to be.

When I heard them play “Amanda” and that blonde backup singer (Morgan) I was like holy smokes those 2 sound insane together! Then I find out they’re married and have kids!! Those 2 crazy voices have offspring together….those kids probably came out singing! They’re gonna be ridiculous singers if they pursue it. Love everything you do Chris!

I love Chris. His heart comes through every song he sings and his talent is so moving to so many. The most special thing to me is that he sings to his wife and many of his songs are love songs, and the interaction between him and his wife when they sing is just so amazing. You can see true love performing live in front of you. It moves me so much. God knows I wish I could sing to my wife like that and see her sing back to me. Chris’ voice is so rich, everyone else sounds shallow. Morgan holds her own pretty well, but few people can sing in the full-throated way he does.
This man brings so much emotion out of every song. I think he may be the greatest american song writer to ever grace this planet. Enjoy! If this music doesn't bring emotions to the surface you're dead!✌️

@@chrisstapleton1736 I found you in 2023 and felt like I had found a tie to the past of my whole family. I am 75, my daddy was from rural Manitoba Canada. He left home at 13... hopped trains east to Windsor and walked across the bridge to Detroit. He had NO fear of heights, so at 13 he washed windows in the high-rises of 1917 Detroit. He worked a lot of jobs and eventually became a certified Master Carpenter. He and momma had 4 kids in Ann Arbor Michigan... then I came along as the "whoops !" 14 years later. I grew up loving tools, loving all animals, and curious about how everything worked .....but not loving people all that much. These days I would be considered to have a diagnosis of Asperger's syndrome. I was a clay artist for decades, loved the chemistry of glazes, then my husband of 24 years left. I was terrified and furious.... then I went back to college in my late 40s. I got a bachelors degree in Biology and my certification to teach in TN to go with my Masters of Fine Arts. My Road To Sanity was to Teach. That is the only way I can really reach out and make contact with other humans. So, here at 75, I teach Biology and Chemistry, and Geometry and Algebra and Marine Biology. My brain state curious. I teach one on one with teenagers who have significant difficulties... mostly dealing with High Anxiety and fear of school. I am finally in a place where I belong. I can finally give back to the future. I am finally feeling OK............ Discovering you and Morgan was huge and deep. Thank you .
