As a Filipino, it’s funny and silly to realize that most foreigners in the comment section took her question seriously and misunderstood what’s happening in this video. It just goes to show how naive some people can be about Filipino culture lol 😅 In the Philippines, we have this thing called hugot which is what they’re both doing in this video. The guy initiated the hugot (flirty&fun teasing) which obviously caught her off guard but she was quick to return the hugot when she said can I go with you? (Context: He said can I give you a ticket so she jokingly responded with “Yes, Can I go with you?”)
We usually do hugot (flirty/romantic/sometimes cringe-worthy catchphrases) for fun. Y’all are misunderstanding her for something else when she’s obviously just having fun and enjoying life lmao You can tell that she’s friendly and competitive 😂 Also, When we do hugot like this, it doesn’t necessarily mean that we are interested with the person. It’s one of our pastimes to have fun (it makes the other person cringe or feel silly but in a good way so you’re guaranteed to laugh/smile)

I have been all over the world for over 40 years. And that includes the Philippines where I have spent a lot of time. Like my WW2 veteran father said while he was there 1944--45, the Filipino people are among the friendliest on Earth. They have good hearts, know how to have a good time, love food and music, and are good workers. On merchant ships all over the world, Filipinos have become indispensable shipmates.
My last job was majority Philippino. Absolute pleasure to work with all of them. Only problem was they were always late LOL

If youre putting out an advice to simply exercise, thats gonna create a lot of people who are constantly getting leaner and then getting fatter, in a non-stop cycle. Some people cant handle juggling both the exercise part and the eating less part. So here I suggest to pick just one and stick to it. Picking exercise makes one crave food, which are 2 battles. Picking eating less is just one battle. Surely one can handle just one job. To advice to eat less calories would be more within reach by more people rather than simply telling people to exercise.
Im not arguing that its the best way. Of course exercise plus diet would be the most potent. Im arguing that far too many people cant handle it and fall into a cycle that doesnt end, trying a strategy they cant handle
