- Hi everyone so nobody asked but in today's video I thought I would take you to HomeGoods to see what they got new this week. I love going to see if I can find any gems. I went to my favorite HomeGoods here in Las Vegas. Enjoy!

My husband and I went to Homegoods yesterday looking for rugs and my husband said, Arvin says it has to be handmade wool. I gasped 🤣🤣

I’m stuck at home sick, stupid Drs took months and I figured it out, but I really love you taking us shopping with you. I love love love your decorating tips. My favorite thing in life is to decorate, but back then I would have had to move to a big city. I just love you and your great personality. I’d love to have you as a best friend! Yes, I would love to see you shop at other stores. Home Goods is definitely my favorite store but you have such style and a keen eye that you could probably pick up some awesome pieces anywhere. Love your style, designing skills and just your personality. I'm sure that your CZcams channel will continue to increase in size.

Former HomeGoods employee here. Tips regarding furniture and rugs:
-Prices are always marked with black grease pencil somewhere on the piece, usually on the back or bottom so even if there isn't a tag you can always find a price
-If you find slight imperfections on anything (art, furniture, even decor) you can ask for a damage discount. Just be nice and ask for it at the register, a manager will usually be called but they most of the time don't mind
-Stock is usually replenished Thursday during the day and Friday morning for the weekend rush
-There is always stuff in the back or not on display, specifically rugs. Rugs are the biggest pain to put up and take down, so we would get lazy and just keep them in a nearby closet until the selection got really depleted lol so maybe just ask an associate about the rugs if the selection seems slim
-as Arvin mentions, 'you might get this as your HomeGoods', that is sometimes true. The selection of good really is amazingly diverse and the more upscale an area the store is in, the nicer the inventory will be. But don't expect to find a pillow at one store and then be able to go to another location and find the same one. That's the magic of HomeGoods - there's always something new and different.
An aside, the employee discount is only 10% as the deals are already insane. My suggestion if you want steel discounts on home stuff is to get a part time gig at Pottery Barn or any of the Williams Sonoma brands - 40% off regular price and 20% off sale. C&B is 30% off as an employee. Still trying to figure out if you get the employee discount at PB outlet.

Ive always had more of a traditional/masculine style in my home because my husband and I both liked those. Well, he has been deceased for 8 yrs now after a short battle with cancer. Now its my time to decorate purely based on my favorite styles.

Arvin Olano let me ask you this...if you’re shopping and there’s a cart, not even in the middle but off to the side, and it’s in front of something you need to get but you don’t see a person anywhere, are you going to push that cart forward and grab your item or stand there and wait for the person to come back? even if you don’t even know if that cart was abandoned or not? Lol

I do have a confession to make.. the other day I had a chance to go to a Home Goods and the entire time I was there, I thought to myself: “I wonder what Arvin would think of this?”

Hi Arvin! I am SO VICARIOUSLY living through you with all of your HomeGoods adventures! At 10:22, that's a plinth. I have one in my foyer that I purchased at the Buckhead HomeGoods. I had it packaged at the UPS Store and checked it in on my flight home, like a piece of luggage. Mine is more resin and wood, and it is FABULOUS as a side table, an ottoman---and even though it's substantial, I can move it from one room to the next. I usually style mine with candles, flowers, and a bronze bust! :) Oh and they sell for $$$$ on 1stdibs.
You have a very very nice HomeGoods and great antique shops! I enjoy bingeing on your videos. Please start numbering them so I can keep track. Pretty please. I really enjoy your style and personality. Another great show.

OMG!!! I viewed an RH Outlet video that had many rugs & there were some cow hide pieces with a print that resembles Turkish rugs & I thought "I wonder if this would suit Arvin's taste?🤔." The perfect alternative to wool to suit my needs, I wanted to leapt through the screen. I seriously melted. I must soon visit the RH Outlet in my city & I pray that they slash sales prices by 50%.

Sometimes we may not like someone else’s style, or disagree with them about certain trivial things. But I believe, while being able to express an opinion is very important and our right as human beings, we should be kind.
I feel like associating a certain decor style with a specific group of people who display negative behaviors is unfair and unkind.
Anyway, just my opinion.

I'm so jealous of those dried florals! I've never seen anything like that at my homegoods and am in need of a bunch due to all the vases I recently bought at homegoods
The huge fish on that kitschy coastal end cap was kinda cool, though. Not in the pastel blue, but in white, gold or black I feel it would look like a nice nod to eastern decor somehow(ya know, because fish are pretty prevalent in chinese and japanese art/decor subject matter and this one somehow looks eastern to me)
Or in red in a white interior 😍 i love punchy pops of red in a white interior...it just looks so surreal, like a bad 80s movie
