- So here is another one for you. Thrash Metal VS Death Metal (Old School Guitar Riffs Battle).
Once again i tried to pick a nice mixture between well known and kind of "underrated" bands. Some bands of the thrash side have some death influences but i wanted to have them in here !! Hope you guys like this one and klick the shit out of it !

Old Entombed, played with a more conventional tone, is very thrashy. That tone is just purr evil, though.

I like how you didn’t pick some of the obvious stuff, and even if you did do one of the bigger bands, you did a less known song for some of them, and shined some light on underrated classics

And yes, old school is best most of the time, especially for Thrash, some got lost during the 90's, a time in which Death Metal rather evolved, and became more technical. But the Old School Death Metal, that's Death Metal from the Crypt. 🤘

There are only winners. Champions in fact. The level of innovation of these relatively early bands is unbelievable. I remember reading on Dark Angels "Time Doesn't Heal" CD booklet that the record contained 110 riffs. This is what I call dedication. Awesome playing as always!

Demolition Hammer is definitely a band that deserves more praise. Those guys recorded what I believe to be THE most brutal thrash metal album ever.
