📄 Batman Begins is a stealth action-adventure game based on the film of the same name. It was released on June 14, 2005 for the Game Boy Advance, GameCube, PlayStation 2 and Xbox; a day before the release of the film. The game was developed by Eurocom and published by Electronic Arts in conjunction with Warner Bros

I personally prefer the Xbox version. This game is still ridiculously underrated as both a Batman game and a movie tie in game. I loved the batmobile sections, felt like something pulled straight out of the Burnout series.
Indeed, the Xbox version is the best: Better graphics, better resolution and better sounds. I love this game until today.
It's because those sections were made by the team responsible for Burnout.

The graphics look amazing for a gen 6 game.
the ps2 version has blur effect on cutscenes, and non of the other have done it. It's very rare to see Blur effects on ps2.
@@kevinleite6309 yea I noticed that too; it’s fun to see how they were able to get certain aspects done in each console version. IMO the details on Batman were highlighted well on GameCube and the Xbox version handled polygons much better.
Much more appreciation for them all now that I’m in my late 30s!

I have this game only on ps2, and it honestly looks amazing for a sixth generation game, so much so that it reminds me of the arkham saga games, even so I feel that the xbox version is the best here, as the second best version gamecube, and finally ps2, the gba version is not told by its limitations, but it looks very good.
I always respect PS's graphical capabilities. It's surprising that it's cross hatching doesn't scale well in HD while GameCube and Xbox seemed to better.
The Ps2 version holds up surprisingly well. Pretty impressive.
Game boy is the best better than all of then its more realistic and more open world i just love gliding around the city

I just emulated both the PS2 and Gamecube versions on the PCSX2 and Dolphin Emulators respectively. From my observations, the gamecube version can be emulated with no graphical glitch while the PS2 version has very minor graphical glitch which are kind of noticeable. Not to forget that the Gamecube was originally more graphically performant compared to the PS2 (Just compare the Gamecube and PS2 version of Resident Evil 4 for example). However the PS2 version has higher quality video cutscenes before each mission due to the game being on DVD which had more disc space compared to the Gamecube's mini disc and also the PS2 had higher sound quality than the Gamecube one. Therefore Graphically the Gamecube version is superior with less to no graphical glitch while emulating however the PS2 version had superior sound and cutscene resolution.
I still have never played this game. I guess I'll try emulating the GameCube version sometime. I imagine the Xbox has the best sound quality though.

The obvious answer is the Xbox version. But i understand people's biases to the console they grew up with.
Graphics almost look like 7th gen
Xbox version in this and every single one kick ass, impressive graphics and details, the other two versions are ok, the gba is different but is a good port for a handheld.

GC fumbled a bit on this one missing some steam from the air vent and some graphical effects from the hallucination spray. But, there's really no big difference. They all look good.

Vicarious visions made some good gba games but they kinda have similar gameplay.
Just take a look at the marvel gba games.
XBOX version is underrated, it looks very good for 6 gen

3:31 is interesting: the Xbox version is more pixel accurate back there on the stairs, but the Batman model has far more detail on the GameCube version.

All versions have pros and cons, I think I'd go with GameCube because it might have faster loading times.

I always felt like Xbox graphics were just upscale GameCube graphics. PS2 felt real stiff and looked.... Like sharp/blocky/pixlelated... Like, if you just barely smoothed out the edges oh an octagon.... GC and Xbox were rounded and fluid feeling.

PS2 looks the best out of the 3 because of the blur and light, ps2 excel in atmosphere in many cases. Xbox version looks cleaner
The blur and the fog are to hide the lack of power of the ps2, the worst version. Xbox and GC are far better.
@@drazt1ko This aint pushing the Ps2 like that. That fog is simply a better effect the other two systems dont do as well
@@realamericannegro977 Actually blur was used in many PS2 games because of the PS2's weaker hardware. Games like Resident Evil 4 had sharper and cleaner textures on the Gamecube while the PS2 port had blurry textures and effects. GTA San Andreas on PS2 literally had an orange filter to hide the low detailed textures on characters and other models while the PC and Xbox versions didn't because they could handle higher detailed textures. I would say those techniques of using blurry effects, textures or even filters are clever ways to hide the shortcomings of the PS2 while kind of giving the games an atmospheric look but in no way that means they were the best versions. The Xbox and Gamecube version of Batman Begins simply didn't need the blurry/fog effects to hide background textures due to their more powerful hardware being able to render background detail without suffering in terms of performance. And btw before I get called an Xbox or Gamecube fanboy let me tell you I never had any of these 2 consoles, I only had a PS2 back in the day and played the game on that.

@@reecerife7839 I fully agree with you! The orange color filter gave it a unique look and atmospheric feel. It's why whenever I play GTA SA on PC I use the SkyGfx mod which adds the PS2 effects to the PC version.
