- Ahoy my friends! Today I will be showing you guys how to take down EX1 Leviathan!! On top of that, I'll be doing this fight with only ONE Sigil Boost weapon and that weapon is the Murasame. If you do have Red's Seaside Collar, however, I do recommend using him over Yuffie. This guide is to show how to take down Levi if you only have 1 Sigil Booster!
This fight isn't too terribly difficult, and I think most of you out there should clear it without too much trouble once you fully understand how to go about the fight!! That being said, hope you all enjoy the guide! And best of luck out there!

I don't have that Zack outfit, is it vital for this? Or can I use a different one?
It's not vital at all tbh. It'll help a bit with PDEF down, but this can easily be done with another costume my bro

As we move forward in this game I am less and less liking the battle system. I'm middle aged but, also recovering from several old injuries. I just don't have the ability to move my fingers and hands especially fast and accurate. Fortunately, a great many games these days have a wonderful suite of accessibility features but! not this one.
As it is, this game's content is always completely and laughably trivial or it is very, insanely difficult to me to even try to manage and literally leaves me in pain at the attempt. Ahh. I doubt I'll ever manage this or the new Shiva fights. If the game keeps going in this direction I'll probably just quit. They're more focused on this stuff than the content I started for and loved. CC story continuing soon but, what a drip. My favorite content so far was the "Character Quest" content they added a bit of context to background stories but, they seemingly forgot about those or just let em die.
All sorts of ideas to help this stuff, the obvious making the auto/semi less terrible, or even slowing time briefly when switching characters. Then of course they could just take a page from FF12's auto system.
Hey bro, i feel your pain and i wish they had something to better accommodate your needs đ I think if you give the game time you will definitely be able to clear these fights in the future. For example, Bahamut which was like 4 months ago, was SO hard for me, but now i can literally CRUISE that fight so if you just dont charge the EX fights right away, i think youâll enjoy it more. Plus, as long as you have the summon abilities at level 5, they are still wicked strong.
Would be sad to see ya go đ but hope you find someway to enjoy the game and i wish they do add more story. They need to better understand the need of doing that, but sometimes they just get so caught up on $$$ that it drops the ball.
Thatâs almost my exact situation, slow manual is too fast. In these videos they appear to be slower but Iâm only on iPad so maybe itâs slightly different enough
@justinf1751 honestly playing on steam makes a WORLD of difference imo!
@@BodhiJMSRyder It'd be nice but, I still haven't found a half decent VPN for PC. Still about half of SEA including where I live that doesn't have access. So, android it remains for me as numerous android VPNs work fine.

Is anyone else struggling with stamina pots with shiva diamond dust and now a new summon farming has become nightmarish lol đ
Yes bro, it is horrendous atm including the green mirage event which abso sucks
Some whales mentioned shiva diamond dust taking 20k stamina to finish the growth tree. While it sucks, I wouldnât rush diamond dust cuz we wonât really need it until ifrit ex battles come out. Same thing for leviathan cuz Ramuh ex battles arenât out yet either. At least they are permanent content though. So really no reason to get it finished this quickly. Itâs still kinda annoying how x9 stamina only gets about 35 memories.
@user-fc9mn7te5d yeah it is so bad honestly. Its good we dont need lvl 10 atm, nor prob will for awhile but 20K stamina is abso ridiculous imo lol

I actually think this one of the harder fights, soley for the reason that we have ONE good melee thunder weapon and TWO good sigil weapons for this fight. (said thunderweapon and the collar) (i understand that its not as mechanically taxing as like, not healing to save for diamond sigil breaks [something that can ruin a run without preemptive memorization]
Compare that to Bahamut and Ramuh, coop, you can have invested into any of like 4 other ICe ARcanums dropped throughout the games life cycle and be fine.
IE I only have MUrasame at OB3, I pull for Sephiroth DPS costumes over cloud whenever they come up. (My main lightning weapon right now was Lucia's but he's magic resistant, likewise my Lucia Earth investment got blocked by the Brothers in this update. 2 Lucia Ls I hope future events will be more hospitable to my investement [ At least I have Canyon REd and Summer collar close to OB 6.)
Tifa with tiger fangs is also a good option for magic attack down. She can also interrupt with her limit break, which can lower defense so having a weapon to lower defense isnât strictly speaking necessary. I think lowering magic attack is more important. And I like using for her healing more than twinkling star.
Iâve actually survived the opening in leviathan ex2 without mdef level 3 if the magic attack is lowered by 3 levels and the gauge is depleted. Though if even an inch is left in that gauge youâll get one shot.
But yeah, itâs kinda weird how they didnât release another thunder arcanum. Or maybe the devs think everyone will spend their bc on yuffie and be incentivized to spend money on a thunder arcanum afterwards cuz now theyâre out of free crystals.
Iâm surprised they didnât make leviathan resistant to physical honestly.

CLoud Defense down and Thunder sword attack,
Red 13 buff magic defense and Thuner Imperil,
and TIfa heal and reduce magic attack.
(both Cloud nad REd have advanced sigils) Sadly at Murasame OB 3 and without limit break or FF9 Sub weapons and NO FF9 or Murasame outfit for cloud he just cant cut the damage needed ATM
Fair enough and i feel that, tho i do think there will be a new Lightning physical arcanum on its way tbh just because so many people missing Cloudâs costume. And yeah very good points about so many other costumes, i just meant difficulty in relation to the fight itself as its very straight forward and thats not always the case. đđ˝
@user-fc9mn7te5d agreed i thought Levi would be magic lightning but normally they dont drop new content exactly with new gear its either a little before or a little after, meaning a new physical lightning arcanum is right around the corner.

Which of the two events would you suggest completing 1st?
Shiva EX2 or Leviathan EX1 / 2
You mean for leveling the Summon past 5? As of now we havent had any content where these higher level summons would even be necessary. I would take down the summon you have the easiest chance of beating first, then move onto the other. Dont worry too much about grinding noble memories i think it takes 20K stamina per summon to hit level 10 đą

Which one would you say is the easier boss? Want to focus my weapon and materia, etc. into boosting for that fight as my next objective.
@ZeroBionic that depends on your gear. For the actual fights themselves, Shiva is harder. But without depending on your equipment, Levi might be harder.
Do you have Zackâs Twinkling Star, Redâs Seaside Collar + Sleek Collar & Cloudâs Murasame and Arcanum?

Hey bro, I got Yuffie's uniform yesterday too, bro, what a bad uniform, I don't know if it's because I didn't level her up to the maximum, but her uniform is really bad đđż.
Do you mean her new costume? It is really good actually. Its not the costume, its something else. Like what level and OB level is her weapon? What content are you fighting with it? Its an Earth Arcanum meaning its meant to fight enemies weak to Earth and then it will shine.
â@@BodhiJMSRyderWell my yuffie is still weak so I see that I'm not having an advantage against the enemies With it I like to use an ice weapon and I no longer see that this uniform gives a buff against ground enemies. đ And we stamp I do well taking 3,2,4,2,3 leaving me with 100k of crystal đđż
@fabioguilhermedasilvahenri4495 you have to pair the earth weapon with the earth costume for it to be effective! And grats! 100K crystals is awesome!
