OO scale trains and locomotives

As a service for a friend it started. By repairing and maintining some I started to get interested in the UK model railways. So I started to purchase some locomotives and train sets according to his wishlist, so I can clean them, maintain, like oiling, coal bursts, and that kind of thing, but for me it was to film and photograph them, and let the run as smooth as possible. Next to that I am addicted to train compositions. It started with German and Dutch, but now also UK and US came part of that interest, I also, hmm, started to complete those as well amap, so the amound of passenger cars , and goodvans too. :) grew enourmous. But it gave back a lot of joy, knowledge about the British Railways, and the wonderfull history of special the pre and after 2nd wwar period till the end of steam, what to seems the most interesting period, according to all kind of developments, as hsitorical, social, technical, that road and flight traffic took a lot, but the railways are still there, as in the US it revived. and as wars are going in the logistics, trains still are important.
