- Here is NBA 2K19 Layup Tutorial and this is the best one yet because of so many layups.

Is it me or is the defense harder this year? And it seems like the cpu never misses on HOF.

Dave Yap man I gotta tweak the sliders because the cpu offense is damn near unbeatable. I get my ass bust every game.
Aye Aye I'm not really in to tweaking the sliders in the game but the offense of HOF CPU its so hard to defend. Also I found out the role players in this game are playing like an all star that's makes me BS about 2k19.
Dave Yap right I feel you. I didn’t really wanna mess around with the sliders either but any other difficulty level besides HOF is not really a challenge.
Yeah no matter what difficulty you put the game on, the defense is still unrealistic. They guard too far out and you have players who don't play defense well, locking you down.

I think some of you here to learn that Kyrie Irving jelly animation.
When you run foward to the base line with kyrie, look at which hand the ball is in. If its on his left hand hold the analog stick diagonally right or vice versa and he will do the reverse hands switch animation. Make sure you don't hold the run button and practice this on 2kU freestyle. It took me a while to find it and I just wanted to teach you guys :/

These moves are so hard for me to do on purpose, I do them all by accident but when I’m actually trying over and over I rarely get the animation I want, can’t even get them in acrobat practice except the reverse layup is easy when I figured out which way to point the stick

I suggest using the Kyrie Irving layup package because the circus layup package does not work for my pure slasher

Do you have to have the pro stick function set to default? Or can i layup with square and hold the stick in that direction?
Why in 2k these are so difficult to pull of while in live its so easy to do?

I think the right stick doesn't change. I tried doing the floater drill and I was running baseline from the right but I still had to hold the right stick down
depends on if you are using camera relative or absolute.
Does the eurostep apply in the mobile version?

I responding to your page because your video is detailed and not on some spam god s***... Drop a video on how to trigger different runner /floater animation. I keep getting the step back animation when I try to trigger the runner from mid range.

Go to settings, then go to options, then controller settings, then put it as camera relative it should be above freelance mode

What is toward the baseline? Up?
Yes, if you are using camera relative, point R up or Diagonal at baseline. If absolute, you can point R right which will also point towards baseline.
The euro step is a pain to do in this 2k

HKT then set screens every play and try em out. Being able to speed boost helps a lot as well in this game.

Tough when defender is around especially this year. Best way to do is before a defender is able to contest.

I was trying to do badge training with layups and acrobat i only got a couple in was so hard to get them to drop the shot meter seems broken
I think they wanted to make it more so realistic because it was basically automatic last game , but it’s awfully easy.

2k18 offense is better
Mario Nored thats because 19’s defense is way better, I believe it was 2k’s focus this year, a lot harder to score and and the Intense D is more strict on lazy defenders
