After struggling with caulking 10x, I learned if I put painters tape on either sides, wall and sink..I can smooth caulking out with a card to get desired thickness, let dry a few minutes and peel tape..perfect straight lines !!!. Love yr designs

Great job. If you want to keep the marble countertop. A uv resistant epoxy will cover it and make it more waterproof especially on the edge.

You can smooth out the corner of the counter using a blow dryer. Heats the paper and allows it to stretch. You did a great job.

Very nice! I appreciate you showing the struggles and the solutions. We DIY’d 2 mobile homes for our vacation homes on Lake Erie and I used a very similar tile for the last kitchen backsplash. It was tricky and I think because of the extreme weather fluctuations right on the water, it didn’t stick worth a nickel. Yours looks much more sticky. Can’t wait to see the progress!

A trick you can try on the corner of the counter if you choose to keep the marble wrap around the edges, is to use hair dryer to heat the peel and stick so it will stretch over the corner. I've never done this myself, but I've seen soo many diy youtubers do it, so it's worth a shot. Maybe give it practice run on scrap wood or something?

Awesome job as always. I think it's great that you share the "oops" moments - gives a realistic depiction of "yes there's frustration sometimes but in the end its worth it" - especially for the beginner DIYers. My favorite is the back splash. On the countertop edge what about trimming it out with more peel & stick tiies? I'm curious why you didn't continue the back splash around the side wall of stove? Maybe there's something planned for there we've yet to see lol.
    Looking forward to the reveal!!

This turned out beautifully! Loved that you showed the mistakes. It's a mark of a real DIYer. I've used a blow dryer around the corners when I did my basement kitchen countertops and the vinyl wraps around perfectly. I also use silicone caulking with rubbing alcohol spray applied before using my finger to seal everything neatly since it's more water proof than latex caulking.

Beautiful as usual! ❤ for the rounded edges, you can heat the vinyl with a heattool or hairdryer to be able to "stretch" it around the corner instead of overlapping like that. Or so I've heard at least, theory vs reality and all, I've only done it like you did - I think it's good enough! But just a tip you might wanna try if you weren't happy with it. Like I said I think it looks beautiful and I always look forward to the next video. It's like xmas everytime a new video is out 😄😊

For round edges I’ve seen other youtubers use heat? So you’d direct a blow dryer to that section as you pull that section of paper and the paper would stretch to allow you to adapt it to whatever shape the surface has, no weird corners or edges 😊 😅 you’re already done with this, but I just hope it helps to know for future reference 🤷🏻‍♀️

For the vinal countertop if you have a rounded edge and use a hairdryer and heat that area a gentle pull it will stretch to fit the curve and then just tuck it under a bit and cut it. That's how to get a smooth rounded corner. Luv all your project's 💕❣️❣️ Sincerely Lori K

As for this quarantine, I am in a high risk group, and sometimes during the day I will just feel a wave of anxiety..... even though I wasn't even thinking about the current situation. The other day I looked at how many people had lost their lives to this illness, and I just felt sick about it. The important thing here is I don't normally have anxiety issues, so this must be just terrible for those that do. 💐

I've used this contact paper before on a counter. You can take a strip and just wrap that corner from the side and then you would just have a seam on either end. It may blend the corner better for you. I think the pattern would be pretty forgiving but cut the strip and lay it out 1st and See if you like it
