And I would like to add to this comment that... well probably I'm overthinking...but in chess a "queen sacrifice" it is a move that you can do for a future benefit in the march and always remember: if you manege to make arrive a pawn at the end of the board it can become a queen as well (if the queen is eaten)...I see quite some references between what Ines said about us as players and the bond between Amiya (the pawn that can become a queen) and Theresa (the queen sacrifice to achieve victory).
And for a moment I thought that your link could be a "trap" for a joke to send us into something like a bird screaming to let us hear "the majestic voice"...I was wrong and I'm ashamed for it ahahah.

The point is more that pre-amnesia Doctor is an asshole who doesn't care about the chesspieces he moves and will do everything to achieve his ultimate goal, while the current doctor can show that he cares and would put himself in harm's way to avoid danger for his employees.

Plot Twist: The original "W" didn't die but faked his death so that he can escape his enemies and leave Kazdel. He is now an operator in Rhodes Island called Sesa.

@@oxob3333 We are Doctors of parallel worlds. There are Doctors that have smol brains, while the others have giga brains. We can gain knowledge from our parallel selves by using a technology called youtube. The Doctor can also perform battle simulations called practice plans. Even if the Doctor fails and lose in a battle, he can manipulate and turn back time at the cost of his sanity and try again until the victory is attained. The Doctor is very OP, enemies doesn't stand a chance.

DM event is an even that explain how the character there get betrayed by the prophet of ursus, Also Horderer has good keen eye for being able to recruite a good mercenary like the current new W. Also we want Ines to be playable in the future xD

DM is perhaps the one event that really solidified AK tone/mood. the situation where every relationship is completely for benefits, even in your mercenaries team anyone want to kill you for bounties when there ain't no job to do. and how militaristic/poltical focused AK is, unparalleled.

this pretty much attracted me to arknights, I've never really liked gatcha games in the past thinking they are cash grabs, however some of these gatcha games really attracted me with their story, first with stuff like the madoka magica one, genshin with its worldbuilding (even if I hated the gameplay) stuff like, reverse 1999, girls frontline limbus company etc
however one thing I've noticed that even in series with somewhat decent world building every one of them stays away from politics, that is except arknights, I've been following the story of arknights on and off for years but never once touched the game, however the politics of the game really eventually made me take this game for a spin finally for years
The dokutah gets more and more badass the more the story progresses
When i was trying to read the story the first time the event launched i couldnt read at all cuz i only looked at ines's thigh.

@@FrostByte262 I think Ines is actually dead. If she was alive, she would've told W and others (aside from Hoeder) about Talulah having 2 personalities and what that really means. And she wouldn't become a messanger to Talulah herself. The flashback makes it pretty clear, that Ines was stabbed and killed, and Reunion put on a spectacle to hide how she really died. Think about it - there would be no point in Reuinon trying to cover up that battle, if Ines survived and escaped, cause she would just tell the truth to W. So most likely she is dead. I wouldn't expect any glorious ressurection, especially with how W and Hoeder reacted.
@@user-or8ql3fe5v I thought so too. Her death was well described and it felt final. The theory about her being alive came from chinese players, they said that Ines had that specific way of speaking that didn't translated well in english, and that mysterious messenger was speaking in the same way.

I was pretty sure that Kazdel was supposed to be Terra's version of Afghanistan judging by the desert/rocky terrain and the whole “Laterano backed civil war that town the whole country” and “becoming a mercenary is the only way of livingfor the despised & oppressed Sarkaz” deal.

Kazdel highly references Germanic states between the fall of Holy Roman Empire and German empire
There's also the theory where Kazdel was based on Biblical Israel
As for Leithanien indeed this country also has some Germany references in it

What about Romania, or one of the other Balkan nations? They would have enough cultural influences from Germany and other Central European countries to get the two confused. I say Romania specifically due to it's common association with vampires/other monsters, mainly because of the mythos built around Vlad III and his "interesting" way of dealing with prisoners of war, but also because of other folklore.
Kazdel is referenced from Silesia, part of Europe that's constantly being battled over by Prussia, Austria, Russia and so on. it no longer exist now

I dont buy the "the messenger is Ines" theory. Wouldnt Talulah notice she is the same person that investigated her?
Many things supporting this theory, such as like how the messenger speak, Ines isn't confirmed dead or not and there is this PV where they show Hoederer and Ines seemingly in Victoria
And yeah, i guess if the messenger is really Ines, she won't go back to Talulah, that's suicide

There's no exact description of operators age, because every race in Arknights has different life span besides there's many other things to why the dev won't confirmed someone's age

Makes me appreciate and love W even more, finally someone who can talk back and hold their ground against kaltsit, with how much of an annoying hardass she can be at times, esp when it was unnecessary, she can be really grating on the nerves
Im confuse who is regent and theresis, im a new player btw still in chapter 6. Then i google it and i realized they are the same person regent theresis. Why i thought they are a different person lol.

This was the last event I read out fully since the next events there a lot of pointless dialogues.
Usually dialogues are my favourite part to read but for some reason dialogues in AK are often so dry and boring. And writing still gets so confusing I can barely understand what's going on.

Although Sargon is a vast region, they include cultural and biome reference to Southern America, Middle east and i guess Africa
As for Kazimierz, it would be 99.9% Poland

We don't know what theresa sacrificed herself for, and what her plan was, so speaking about her as if you knew is just stupid.
Other operators don't know about kal'tsit's or theresa's plans, so they just think we're important, they don't need to know about 'the game' to fight for us as long as they believe we're important enough.
And op never said anything about the plot having multiple choices that the player will be able to choose. He also mentionned ddlc, and ddlc also only has one plot. The only difference the player can truly make in that story is who you're going on a date with during the first chapter.
Also, there actually is a character in arknights who might have mentionned the player, so it's not impossible that 'us', not as the doctor, but as the player, will have some form of impact on the story. Not as a "multiple choices" type of scenario, but simply being part of the story, a fourth wall breaking story.

Ines : A chess player's main focus is never on the pieces, or even the game. It's always on the other player. You always want to beat an even match.
After a win, the player goes home to a nice, hot meal. The pieces get popped back into the box and stashed away.
The player gets to sleep, wake up, walk, and talk. The pieces just sit there in the cupboard.
We're all objects. Inanimate objects. There was only one person, one thing really alive on that battlefield. And it was that one.
If we're still gonna call ourselves people, then, well... the Doctor's something else.
Of course, it's possible that this isn't them referencing the player, us, but the possibility that they ARE isn't 0 either. The fact that Ines says that the reason she thinks that the doctor is 'a player' isn't because of what he's doing in kazdel, also makes her referencing the player much more likely.
Well there is the theory that the Doctor is a Old One(in a sleeping state/dreaming state) aka "the Player" is the eldritch god "dreaming" as the Doctor & pre Amnesia Doctor may or may not have been aware of this. (Not to mention that all medical files on the Doctor are classified by Kal`Sit which is kinda explained/shown in Chapter 8 first and a few trust voice lines)
