There are still a few mom and pop restaurants around that serve really good sandwiches

Huh. As a cook, and salad master from Boston, these problems are easily solved, by making LESS THAN ANTICAPATED, for a day! Egg salad, tuna salad, lobster salad, are examples, and we're rarely called upon to make more later. Same goes for meatballs, which are served in other dishes. In short, we want you to have fresh food every day, by proper planning on our part, because that's what keeps you coming back. Top of the morning's freshness, not yesterday's leftovers

    Avocado toast isn't a sandwich

Our work serves egg salad sandwiches at work. We are EXTREMELY careful and keep it in the fridge no more than 2 days max. These sandwiches are fine if the restaurant is foodsafe.

I love a good Reuben sandwich. It’s especially good when the corned beef is steamed.

Missing from the "Restaurant" sandwiches: the classic Monte Cristo. With a dusting of powdered sugar--heavenly.

I would love to have a Lobster Roll or a Croque Madame at a restaurant. I also have to agree with you about Meatball sandwichs when it comes to handling and eating it. They should cut the meatballs in half at least.

Definitely endorse the Cuban and Reuben sandwiches at restaurants, and yeah I agree you're better off making the BLT, Tuna, and Avocado Toast at home

You got things reversed with corned beef. The irish adopted it from the Jews, not the other way around

I never understand the appeal avocado toast. Texturally, it's an utter mess. I've never been a fan of mush on soggy bread.

The thing is, you slice the avocado; you do not mash it. Butter the toast with GOOD salted butter, slice the avocado and sprinkle with sea salt and freshly-ground black peppercorns.

I would say grilled cheese sandwiches are great at home but at a restaurant they’re over $10 when you can bake at home and save the money

These best/worst videos are great because you can always argue back.... but I totally agree that a Cuban is probably best from a good place & a Reuben too..both aren't super easy at home

Once again, if we listen to this, we should not ever eat any sandwich outside of our own kitchen. The lettuce is bad, the tomatoes are tasteless as they are not in season the list goes on against eating any type of sandwich except the ones they like. Oh, by the way, the meatball is a sub, grinder, hero, not a sandwich. Unless all subs, grinders, heros are sandwiches, too.

Corned beef is not originally Irish. Corned PORK, not beef. The Irish do not have a large cattle population. Dairy cows and pigs are plentiful. As usual, this channel is a wealth of misinformation!
