personally, i really like klaxon:) plus this isn't the first time gidle has done a "goofy"/fun/lighthearted summer song. i've been watching gidle since they released uh-oh, so i don't feel like this was out of place or anything for them, since they've had lighthearted songs (like dumdi dumdi, for example) before
People had me scared, but I really like the song. The live performance video added to it. Frankie Valli is the OG of the song you were singing (he's 90 now and I saw him live last year 🔥). The rest of the songs were great too 🎉

Personally, I've seen weirder song titles. Usually Japanese songs that just take 2 or more random words and make that their song title. Plus, I think 'Klaxon' is a more interesting sounding song title than just naming the song 'Horn' or 'Car Horn'. Those would be boring songs titles in my opinion and saying "Hit the Horn" "Hit the Car Horn" isn't as catchy as saying "Hit the Klaxon"

I personally did not like this comeback but to each their own. It sounded like a musical and the chorus is corny especially the honk part. It's not my taste but respect ppl who like it. They looked great and put so much effort into it as always.
I love gidle but I think this is the worst title track by idle and I blame company for overworking soyeon and the girls for this. Super Lady is at least more listenable and fun then this but last 2 comebacks are not doing it for me. Hope it does well in charts since kcharts have some unpredictable hits sometimes
Personally, I disagree. I like this title track and comeback a lot. While I don't think Cube or any company should be overworking their idols at all, I don't see how Cube is to blame when the title track isn't factually bad and from what I've seen, most people enjoy 'Klaxon'.

I was waiting for a red alert from Star Trek since the alarm in the ship is called a klaxon and that's the only context I've heard the word.
Klaxon is a horn (like a car horn). But it's a weird title for a song. I guess they wanted a word for "horn" that was 2 syllables.
