    In France we called that punch, "Pain de l'espace" 😅 And yes he was knocked out, nobody complained on him or wanted to respond ^^ and its a rare situation were you can see him being dirty if not the only one. He lost control. But he is still on of the most professional of all those feared players if not the most. A lot of powerfull rugby players were dirty

    This guy started rugby when he was 16 years old and finished international.. He's ans exceptionnal player with good mentality.. He let grow hair and beard when he was Playing in England because he didin't speak enough English to go to barber.. He was our favorite French personnality and male archétype during few years.. We love him
    An other exceptionnal French rugbyman who was our captain, best player in the wold : Thierry Dussautoir.. Marvellous to see him playing, pure talent, enormous IQ..
    We have chance that an another big player choiced France. It's an honor for us. He's Emmanuel Meafou and he plays in Toulouse with Antoine Dupont.. He's exceptionnal and so nice.. I had chance to meet him, and I was very touched from him..
    La Rochelle has an another uncredible player in his team, a monster 19 years old : Posolo Tuilagi.. His father and Uncles was rugby players and Internationals.. This guy is a Diamond.

    He has several nicknames as "Caveman" or "the Anesthesist" my favorite cuz' true. The tackle on Masoe (n°8 All Black) is wild. Poor guy had troubles to recover. I've met Masoe in the streets of Toulon years ago and I can tell you he is a big solid dude. He's got forearms that look like thighs. That gives you an idea on how hard Chabal hits

    hey so nice react, in France, we have a saying for Sebatien Chabal, "Chabal we will make you love meat", reference to an advert from Charal which makes real meat, and it was her slogan in tv

    Man you should look at Meafou's highlights. And keep in mind he's still young and hasn't been playing for long. But he's a freak of nature. And a great player on top of that

    As others have stated, Chabal was a physical beast but an average player when it comes to skills and rugby IQ.
    Dude was powerful and explosive as f (fastest player on the French squad over 30 meters in 2007) but lacked stamina though.
    Media hyped him up because of a few tackles and because of his looks (grew hair and beard later in his career, so the clean cut look was actually young Chabal), but he should be nowhere near any conversation about great players.
    If you're looking for great enforcers, you got Bakkies Bothat, Brad Thorn, Schalke Burger, etc.

    • @erwannthietart3602
      @erwannthietart3602 Před 14 dny

      Ah bollocks he most definitly deserve to be in a conversation about great players, not "best players in the world" perhaps but Great players definitly. Because sure skills and IQ is essential, but if well accompanied by his team as he should be because even the best in the worlds needs their team besides them to succeed, others can think for him meaning his flaw can be compensated for.

      Dis donc, tu ne serais pas un peu français sur les bords avec ton anglais taillé à la serpe? Petit canaillou.🤪

    So for french chabal was a legend but only on TV and for french who don(t know rugby. He begain unshave in the 2000 but he began in 2005 to have a beard and his nikemane was caveman. he is now a businesman ofen on french TV and own lots of company is best is one who sell lots of stuf for taking care of beard they are one higth quality. If i had to rank him a very good player with a very higth pysucalty. But he can't be comapare to top player and legand. I love his legacy but it hase nothing to done with his level of rugby. He lack too much on technicty and view of the field.In his prime he go to naw zeland for two match the team was him and newbies (in summer the french team can't have the 4 or 6 best club because the are on the finals to know who will win the french competion) he seriously injure two player from new zeland.
