What we hate about Barrone and Borreload Savage dragon, was that it got banned right after it became cheap and affordable, but they should’ve banned it years ago when it was expensive 🙄
Konami do this all the time. Introducing new powerful and expensive cards. After 2 years they reprint all the power cards and banning meta cards after 1-2 banlist. No need to surprise :D

Man I been building speedroids for a minute so I could goto locals for the first time and literally just bought 2 baronne de fleur gotta find a new deck now 💀😭
I ran speedroid at my locals replacing Barron with crystal clear wing (it hurt) and a good chunk of hand traps. but I some how got 4th place don’t know how but not complaining

I never thought this day would come...but technically we can still make Crystal Clear Wing Dragon (the lvl 10) with just a Terrortop by also playing Cork Shooter & Red-Eyed Dice. So SS Terrortop, SS Taketomborg into Dice, make Top into lvl 2, synchro into Cork, Dice make Top into lvl 6, synchro to Clear Wing Dragon, and there you go a lvl 10 Synchro (if you get handtrapped, YEP nothing we can do) but we still have our Normal Summon at least 😂

The pay off of the Kash cards to make Barone defo kills the synergy but I think spedroid pure is still pretty good.
I don’t think it’s dead, 3 terrortop and you can apply the Windwitch engine. Crystal wing is strong imo. Ice belle and any copy of terror, marble, Wynn and/or maybe pros will end on a super strong board depending what rte you take

I topped locals with Kashtira Speedroid and ofcourse my deck instantly gets hit.. Now I got no clue what i'm going to play for Dutch Nationals. sigh.
I can understand why people don't like the baronne and savage hit, but at least it will give a lot of combo decks more original end boards. It was tiresome seeing the same 3 monsters on every end board. And realistically. Yes it sucks that speed road lost baronne but it's still possible to play competitively. Not the nest deck bust still rogue if piloted correctly. Also when it comes to nibiru there can still be some ways to make crystal wing before or on 5 summons right? I'm not a speedroid player so I'm not too knowledgeable on the deck.
Very unlikely to stop nib with crystal, unless you get extremely lucky, now speedroid is required to play crossout

I hate that my Dlink, Mannadium decks just died. Stupid fire engine breaking cards that other decks needed. Sychro strategies took a huge hit.
As much as losing Baronne hurts, it is an objectively good thing for the game. With Baronne gone, there is significantly more room for innovations with Synchros

Its objectively bad to not have this in the game. Baronne is arguably one of the most balanced cards in the game and provides every single deck that can make it with a Plan B and a way to play through handtraps. The game should not be a case of opening 4 handtraps and a 1 card starter.

- Baronne & Savage banned, floogates hit -> easier to go 2nd
- Terrortop to 3 -> maximum consistency
The list was crazy. While the baronne hit sucks, i feel like theyre trying to balance the game out by getting rid of omni-negation, and going for non-negation based disruption, or at very least specific negation types, i.e. apollousa. Also, I've been testing water with the tidal, it does create lines in mermail that are honestly kinda crazy
Apollousa is only not on there because getting another reprint on next set

Baronne is so deserved unfortunate that Appo isn't also banned.
That double reprint in Rarity Collection is definitely the reason behind it. IP would also be a legit ban limiting the power of SP as well.

baron just requires just too monster and appo requires more materials to make. This is a hot take think that ip should be banned. because it is pretty nutty to make appo with ip and have boss monster who canted be destroyed by card effects. plus ip is just too broken in my imo.

Linkuriboh was a scapegoat (pun ABSOLUTELY intended) to keep SE alive. Baronne got banned for one reason: Profit. Konami is going to make a new generic Synchro just like it, and it's going to be a royal pain to get just like S:P is right now.
