Toy Story 5 Pitch? - TOON SANDWICH
VloĆŸit
- Äas pĆidĂĄn 9. 02. 2023
- An unusual but sincere idea for where they could take Woody's story in Toy Story 5.
Some FAQ:
Q: Aren't Jesse and Bullseye the same age as Woody?
A: One way to get around this could be that whenever the toys are static (pretending to be toys) they are essentially in cryo, and this doesn't count towards their lifespan. And perhaps Jesse and Bullseye lived a much more static life before they met Woody, and are therefore much younger.
Q: Is Slinky Dog still alive?
A: I figured Slinky would be already gone by the time Woody reconnects with Buzz and the others - and that perhaps he would be Woody's first encounter with a toy that's no longer alive.
Q: Why would Andy have a picture of himself on his bedside table?
A: His family would have brought those earlier, perhaps even on their last visit, so he could reminisce about his life with them.
Q: What happens to Woody's body?
A: The next day Buzz and the others would go on a secret mission and find Woody on Andy's bedside table (Andy's body would be removed by then but the photos would clue them in to why Woody was there) and they'd take him and put him next to Bo, as they knew he wanted.
Q: Who sings You Make Me Feel Brand New?
A: Originally, The Stylistics, but I was thinking of the Simply Red version. (A "brand new" cover would also be an option đ )

This is so freaking touching, if only Pixar/Disney could allow an actual closure like this
Bro I swear to God I see you everywhere lol
They use to be touching like in Up
Nah theyâre too busy making a live action up with a gay mr fredrickson
Nah they canât make the story this way because they need the characters to make more money and more sequels
â@@Creeper65 they still can...but with new characters that aren't FORKY.....
This is probably going to be better then the actual movie.
This WILL be better than the actual movie
agreed
The actual movie will be about how the classic toys are old and offensive and need to die out to make way for new blood.
Yeah I have a feeling your right Dennis.
Does anyone remembered that there is a different version of toy story 3 where buzz was being recalled and going to taiwan. and woody was going to rescue him and sadly. Buzz died
It's seriously impressive how this guy was able to turn a kid's movie about toys into a tragedy
bro its touching, and beautifull.. :(
Agree, the Toy Story films were child friendly, but they handled heavy topics in a mature respectful way that children can understand. Toy Story 3 I feel is a great example.
â@@sirorliktheironcladThe movie grew with the audience. It's gotten more and more mature as time move on.
Itâs interesting that you made Bo further ahead of accepting their end than woody is since she is able to comfort him when he gets nervous about their situation. Itâd be nice to see a stand alone scene of just her working through it.
Agreed. And I think also her helping him is part of how she's able to deal with it - her desire for him to be ok is stronger than her own fear đ
@@ArtSpearEntertainment you did that well can you contract Pixar animation studio and tell them that story again for toy story 5 that means they can make toy story 5 with that story if it was on at cinema I would love to see it
This is somehow very horrifying and dark, but yet very poetic and sweet
Dude this has to be one of the saddest movie of all time if 5 turned out like this its might be more horrifying than 3
That's how you know Disney won't do it like that lol
In the great words of the Nostalgia Critic
"THIS IS HOW YOU DO G! 2023!"
@@mjolnair its not horrifying, its just very sad but sweet, itâs bittersweet
I donât want a bittersweet sad ending. Why canât there be a happy ending for everyone in Toy Story?
No joke (like AT ALL), this is the way that I would want Disney to wrap this series up. I grew up watching all the Toy Story movies and this seen really made me emotional. The best part about this is that it is a very mature way to end things and regardless of being a kid, teen, adult or elder, we can all relate to this because weâve all had objects that we played with when we were young. We can all appreciate the joys and special memories that these special objects have given. I donât care what Disney decides to do with their movie, THIS is my Toy Story 5.
This would be my Toy story 4
This is one of the most emotional videos I ever watched. Besides scenes of movies I nearly cried at.
then the next decade we have 6 to 9 toy story.
Toy Story 3 was the wrap-up. Disney just wanted more money.
Thatâs why when Toy Story 5 comes out if itâs bad ima just watch this
I really like the idea of Buzz going through Woody's arc in the first toy story, would be a great way to bring both Buzz and Woody full circle
Seeing Woody and Andy interact and say their proper goodbyes would be a beautiful ending.
I'm not even a Toy Story fan, but this pitch left me in tears. Someone get these two the role of directors.
Yes! Fully agree! đđđđđđ
same here
Oh, look another sheep who doesn't understand that a director isn't the the writer đ
Look for ways to do it appropriately, because they canât just accept ideas like that out of the blue, because for protective legal reasons. Believe me, I have been there where I pitched a movie for Pixar years ago and they wrote me back saying they are appreciative of my work but canât make it for legal reasons. Unless I work with them or be an experienced writer with a good agent.
Iâm sorry but wouldnât those be considered writers?
Did that move anyone else to tears? đą
That pitch was beautiful! Much better than anything Disney will slop into the trough đ
Yes, it did. (On the basis of this pitch alone, Disney should hire Joe and Rita to write and direct Toy Story 5. But they won't. Genuine heart and creativity are no longer welcome in the house that Walt built.)
I did to when Andy died it got me sad :(
It did with me!
At some theyâre gonna have to let genuine heart and creativity in these movies. Or else theyâre the ones who will lose money to the point that they wonât know what else to do. My only petition for Toy Story 5 is to make the characters from the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command TV show appear in the movie. I have been petitioning this for years now. Oh and have Andy back married with kids and fixing Woody up and Woody Buzz and the whole gang reuniting and they will all be together again. Cue the song Reach for the Stars by S Club 7
That last moment with Andy just opened a very old wound in me
I'd love it if they ended the story like this. But even if they don't, this is now how it ends in my head. Really moving. Loved it.
You won me immediately, but the idea about using older actors for the older heirlooms is nothing short of genius. It will surely give a chance to some retired beloved artists to feel again being part of the acting community.
Not going to lie, I was not expecting such a deep and well thought out film pitch. Honestly thought that it was going to be a spoof
I wondered about that as well before clicking on it.
This pitch is perfect
1. It will satisfy the fans
2. It would be good way to transition into an anthology show about toys from different places
Because disney wants money
Precisely why they would never do it. Disney seems to be addicted to making terrible movies as of late.
Holy crap. I'm a huge Toy Story fan, and I love each movie for their own reasons. I have the first 3 memorized by heart, and I saw this in my recommendations and figured I'd give it a shot. I never thought I'd see this very sweet ending to the characters. This legit brought tears to my eyes. Thank you.
I honestly really like the idea that when Andy does see Woody, he doesn't freak out or anything like that, and that deep inside... he knew all along what was going on.
It reminds me a little bit of how Leia in Return of the Jedi always felt he was Luke's sister all along, it's no dramatic reveal.
If this IS the way Toy Story 5 goes, then.... it'd be the most beautiful ending that'll ever exist... cause it'd end the way it started: with Woody by Andy's side... till the very end. đąđ
This pitch for Toy Story 5 is really something else. It tackles a really interesting idea like toys getting too old to move anymore, and features a beautiful and emotional conclusion.
And it's a good concept, moving to the modern age with technology more advanced and kids wanting to get new ipads/games consoles.
I was really invested into this even if it was just a pitch for how the movie is going to go. I really hope Disney does something similar to this because this was just beautiful.
Woody could've also said
"Andy, you've always been,"
*"My favorite deputy"*
For a second I thought it was one of the trailers and I was like : Wow, they are really very ahead of their time. They've reached the future !
ÎλληΜαÏ
Oh man... I cried. If this is what the movie will look like then it would be the best Toy Story movie. I hope Pixar will have the balls to do such an adult and sad story but if they do... What a masterpiece we are gonna get
Better then Toy Story 4
Pixar should employ spear art guys , great talents! đ
âYou have cancer, Andy.â
This is so beautifully bittersweet. I wish I was being dramatic but I teared up over the ending, it's like I can almost see the vivid imagery of the actual movie with just the narration and storyboards. Amazing
LITERALLY
This is the most horrifying beautiful pitch Iâve ever seen
It's horrifyingly beautiful.
@@somerandolad just like James Gunn's mind
@@somerandolad better yet...Stan Lee's mind
You've been sitting on this idea since 2019? Sheesshhh!
That was a brilliant pitch. The critics love it.
"This guy gets it..."
-Variety
"I'm not crying, you're crying"
-New York Times
"How much for the script?"
-Tom Hanks
That was probably the most intense thing I've ever witnessed in my life. My heart dropped at the end with Andy, this was beyond incredible and I guarantee I'd like this better than whatever Disney and Pixar are gonna give us!
Well, this would be a magnificent, fantastic, unique script for the upcoming Toy Story 5. It would be so beautiful if Woody will see Andy again after a couple of years, and Andy would figure out that he's favourite toy was alive all along. A pretty touching moment.
This is honestly a really great pitch you guys made to Toy Story 5. I hope you guys make more prewrite movie pitches.
My goodness this needs to be an actual movie. This hurts like hell just hearing it but if this was animated? If the music was real? I'm gonna cry for the first time in a long time
This way disney wont be able to millk the series again so this wont be happening
@@tedyi8588 you're sadly right. They aren't here to make history, just money
@@tedyi8588they can always start fresh with another toy, so why not
@@thecorrurtion215 cuz Disney knows that toy story wouldn't be toy story without woody and buzz. Even though this concept is amazing, disney would never do it cuz toy story is one of their main money sources and they aren't gonna wrap up their biggest cash grab.
@@Adynzh they could just cut the woody death out of it.
Very moving.
Since I was a kid Toy Story has been the most sentimental series in my heart and so thank you for sharing this really moving version of how the characters' stories could end â€
I donât think I can mentally prepare for something like this...I LOVE IT
This is the Toy Story 5 we need... but probably won't get.
So yeah theyâre pretty good chance this video could age like milk
Pixar's Version should be better than yours
@@petecarr4709?
Time for us the fans to do what we do. Share the heck out of this and tag Disney in it until they see it and take it into consideration.
I remember that one time some people remade the entirety of the first Toy Story in live action and it eventually blew up enough that it got the attention of people at PIXAR, who praised it.
If that could get PIXARâs attention, so could this.
Unfortunately big movie studios tend to steer well clear of unsolicited story treatments and scripts because they donât want to end up in a compromising situation and potentially face lawsuits.
@@superflygreenscreens7178 Is there ways to pitch these stories without it being âunsolicitedâ and without getting in trouble? This means that they have not asked for it. But how else are they gonna take it if they donât even see it? Unless if everyone agrees to the one idea that might be the best for everyone and not get sued. Itâs confusing as well it is unfair. Canât they see that Toy Story 4 has divided an entire childhood because they made Woody leave his family forever for someone who was also part of the gang but has a different but unfair perspective on a toyâs life? I know money is what theyâre after, but they gotta realize that a great story with a happy and satisfying ending for everyone leads to even bigger amounts of cash.
@@josearielortiz2055 I think the first step is to probably get a literary agent and then work on gaining contacts and networking in the industry.
@@superflygreenscreens7178 I have one contact, and she is my sisterâs best friendâs twin sister. But she works at DreamWorks
I was a huge toy story fan back then and wow, this pitch is absolutely beautiful. The ending hit so hard, such a brilliant and beautiful pitch.
that was the best idea for a fifth toy story possible, disney canât top it, for a channel known for comedic parodies, you made a truly amazing emotional story.
Toy Story 3 had the perfect conclusionâŠ
But 4 was the better movie
Nah. The ending was nice but the movie felt hella unnecessary IMO
@@Samuel-p17 I mean, not really, I liked it though despite the majority of people not liking it and I thought the ending justified the movie's existence. But what are they gonna do now for 5? Woody getting a divorce at the end? All of the movies were about Woody saying goodbye to his friends, honestly don't know how they're gonna justify making more movies when the last two were supposed to be the ending to the whole Story.
@@MamadNobari I don't know, I only liked the fourth one. I've never watched them as a child.
Movie companies nowadays: The conclusion can be whatever I want them to be
I know this isn't you guys' usual content but this is honestly one of the best videos you guys've ever made. So beautiful, so heartbreaking, so well-done. I feel like you two really need to make your own animation studio so you can fully unleash your unlimited talent and creativity.
For a married couple known for making wacky, cocky, and bizarre content, this was something I didn't EXPECT at all. Like wow!
This pitch is likely going to be at least 2x better than the actual movie! Amazing job mate!
The movie should actually start with Andy coming home from college for Spring Break to check if Bonnie kept her promise only to discover she lost Woody on a road trip, this causes him to embark on a journey to search for his favourite childhood toy and it ends with a flashforward to Andy's kids playing with the toys under his supervision.
Andy would feel bad but I highly doubt he would conduct a nationwide search just to find Woody. He doesnât actually know there alive.
@@fawkewe they're*
I know he'd care that much about Woody to search for him.
Man if this film gets animated, it will mentally destroy me, I would rain my tears for weeks probably.....
But still this is the most beautiful idea for a sequel and a concert for a film general....
You dropped the crown on a floor, king...
That would be the best FINAL movie for the franchise, a perfect ending for woody, and the franchise, a nice return to the beginning in the end
Damn, my heart just fucking stopped. This would be phenomenal, emotional, yet almost necessary.
This is so good. I cried listening to this đ This should be the actual movie.
That is such a beautiful idea, and it genuinely brought me to tears. Toy Story is the first movie I ever saw growing up in the 90s and early 2000s, and the idea of closing the story this way resonates with me so strongly. This will always be how I imagine the story ends, regardless of any future movies.
You guys could definitely do more of these pitches in the future, itâs a brilliant idea
Seriously, Pixar really needs to hired this person who made this video.
I did not just get emotional for a toy story pitch. There's no way. Toy story always held a special place in my heart and this is perfect. The ending is actually beautiful.
This would genuinely be a cool film
Wow. Regardless of what they put out there. This is the ending in my head. Such a great ending
I would cry sobbing from how beautiful and sad this pitch is, itâs sweet đ
Very rarely does it happen where I tear up to something which I guess what Iâm saying is that this made me cry. Iâve grown up with Toy Story my whole life and Letâs say this was the way they wrote, man Iâd be in crying my ass off! And if I were Disney and Pixar, Iâd choose you two to put that version of the movie into fruition. Thanks for making me cry today, because it was one of those happy cryâs and thatâs something special!
As much as I love this pitch, Disney & Pixar would never greenlight it.
They don't have the balls
I guess I've been thinking more about mortality lately and this video nearly brought me to tears.
I honestly don't think i want Disney to lay their hands on this cos they'll probably find a way to cheapen it and ruin it.
This is how tou story ended for me and I'll probably come back to see it again in future.
Thank you very much for this
Thanks, this made me genuinely cry by the end.
Was expecting a joke but this is solid, I would actually love this
This literally moved me to tears, sadly i don't think they'll do something like this because they'll probably want to continue the franchise as long as possible, but i'm just gonna set this as my own personal cannon because i gurantee you this is better than anything Disney will make.
I never comment on anything unless it makes a huge impact on me. Good sir I've never cried during a movie pitch, bravo. Perfect storytelling
Real tears and this is just a pitch Iâd be bawling my eyes out if the movie was like that. Loved your video man â€
This is a beautiful masterpiece this has to be real đ
I was thinking this would be a tongue-in-cheek parody, but you clearly have a true reverence for this series. It means a lot to know that not only is someone as inspired by the potential of a fifth installment as I am, but you actually proved that potential to the world! Well done! Thank you for sharing!
Hey man this is a work of art. Iâve never cried to a pitch meeting before like this needs to be Toy Story 5. It is the absolute most perfect ending. I love you for creating this masterpiece and making me feel these emotions.
I'm actually lost for words. This made me tear up.
If they donât make this story, make it yourself. You and Rita are going make it great like everything you make
I didn't want a Toy Story 4 but liked it. I didn't want a Toy Story 5 but I want this film now. What a brilliant pitch!!!
Eh, Toy Story 4 wasn't *as* great as the previous installments. But this. THIS. is just a masterpiece!đ„Č
I would literally cry for days on end if this is how it ends I remember the days when I was little and always prefer my Woody doll than all the new updated toys because he was my favourite toy I say this with tears down my face and the same Woody doll in my room from my childhood almost twelve or thirteen years old un-played with for probably three years, worn down with stitches all over, and surprisingly still his hat but I know he has always been there for me and so will I and maybe just maybe I will have one last game with him even though I am too old for toys.
Aw, he would love it â€
@@ArtSpearEntertainment thnx
Honestly, I loved every moment of this. I grew up with the original three movies and loved all of them, the fourth one left a bad taste in my mouth and made me worried about the sudden announcement of the fifth movie. But if Woody's story ended like this, we would have a perfect conclusion to the franchise.
Also the ending scene with Andy made me tear up a little.
this is exactly the kind of subject a kids movie should adress especially given the rapidly aging population and growing ageism, it is the kind of deeper message that seperates the good movies from the great ones
You should mention the phrase "Bruce, it's been five years, you still own me sixteen dollars."
The story that you laid out is so beautiful and heart felt. I was sad in a good way because this was so relatable when you lose someone in your family that you are very close to. And I think that Disney/Pixar should hire you for this strong and add to it. You know the action and jokes. Man if I were you I would get on a plane and go to Orlando and try to get on the crew for Pixar's writer and screen play. You have such a good story and creativity that you can use and never have to worry about money ever again. I believe in you dude đŻđđœđđœ
This reminds me of another toy story type video I watched a couple years ago, it was some post-apocalyptic type stuff, this one is more in tune and better, and has a bitter-sweet ending.
I think the original video got deleted, oh well, I guess the memories will live on.
This was very good , l smiled while holding back a tear. Most authors strive for that but never get it , you did.
I clicked this to watch yet another fun ArtSpear animated sketch. I did not expect to see this well thought out beautiful ending to a franchise. This is actually perfect.
This got me chocked up. Genuinely great work on this. I hope the movie ends up being something like this.
Oh my gosh, I have NEVER cried in a movie, but this actually made me cry đâŠ
Okay, I was not expecting this at all! I literally thought this was gonna be a parody like Idk Woody goes to space, but this was actually a pretty damn good pitch.
It feels very adult and I would love to see this movie come to life, so thanks for that!
*WOW* I was not expecting this to go that dark, deep, heartfelt and sad all at once.
If disney could make a movie this dark, it would be amazing. I hope they see this
I wouldnât say itâs dark itâs really sweet
â@Gojira19542 it's more bittersweet if anything, but dis would be really cool for toy story 5
@@kubo_27z You are right
Wow. I love your videos because of how funny and out there they are. Then you hit me with this? Iâm on the verge of tears. I canât think of a more perfect conclusion to my favorite movie franchise of all time. I can see the Buzz storyline being a great bookend to the first film with him now being the VG old toy. This is, as the kids say, chefs kiss. Thank you so much for sharing this with all of us. â€â€â€
I love this idea and this would probably be the perfect end of the movies.
The last scene would probably be one of the most saddest one I have seen and I can imagine that it would make the entire cinema cry.
And I think too that Disney wouldnât make it that sad, but still this would be a great way to make the fifth movie.
Dang mate.
I did not expect to find myself tearing up while watching/listening to this pitch.
That scene with woody and bo was heartbrakingly beautiful đ
I'm literally crying that would be beautiful
Ok but seriously this is an amazing idea
This really made me emotional
I want Disney to adapt this
Perfect ending for Toy story
This is very deep and a truly cool concept. You all are so talented and funny. Thanks so much for sharing.
I grew up watching toy story and my friend sent me this and I almost cried

Iâll be honest: When you mentioned the futuristic setup, I felt this might be jumping the shark but overall I really like what you did and I hope Toy Story 5 goes in a similar direction.
I don't think it taking place in the far future is necessary. Have Andy still be young but contracted a fatal illness.

3 ended perfectly. I didnât like 4 nearly as much as the first three but it is moving. I donât think this franchise should have anymore films
That being said, this version of a potential Toy Story 5 would make everyone cry for the whole movie. Kids probably wouldnât like this because of how dark it is, but god damn, I was on the verge of tears watching this
Yeah...that's honestly why this probably never happen. Disney really only cares about the money, and if kids don't like the movie for how realistic and dark it is, then they won't get as much money. Such a shame, I would love for this to be animated into a full length movie... :(
